Beginning next year with revenue sharing for college players, and NIL, also figuring in that these players now have agents, I think we have arrived at a point in college football where, instead of signing and NLI they need to sign a contract, on a year-to-year basis. I agree the transfer portal does not need to open until after the NC game. In said contract it would state that said player has to play in the bowl game, or they forfeit the revenue sharing and NIL money. As a fan, I do not want to spend, X amount of money to go and support my team and key players opt out of the bowl game. Someone (I really don't care who) needs to step up and take charge of the NCAA and put some guidelines in place, or all that is happening is the College game will become a minor league system for the NFL.

I do know they have spoken to someone that you have mentioned and asked him directly if he had any interest in the job, and would he be willing to take it. He has answered in the affirmative and has officially applied for this position. I also know they have to keep the req open for 30 days due to KRS statues, and would like to make a hire right after the new year.

My source tells me the school and the Coach both have mutual interest.

You think it's changed, you have seen anything yet when profit sharing takes place next year. There is no such thing as a student athlete any longer. The college game has become a farm system for the NFL. The college game I knew as a kid no longer exists.

That is a might bold prediction. I agree that for the sake of college football a Clemson will would be tremendous. That being said, Texas wins as Arch Manning comes off the bench to save the day. You heard it here first folks.

I think given a couple of weeks to prepare, I trust Josh Heupel a whole lot more than I do Ryan Day. I think Heupel will put a few new wrinkles in for the offense, and when it comes to big games, Day is one of the best choke artists in the country. I think UT front 7 maybe the best OSU has faced all season. So, I'm going with UT in an upset over OSU. 24-20. Unless it is snowing, I don't think weather affects this game at all.

Going to be a long season for the Panthers this year. They lost a ton from last season. But Coach Haire will have them playing better come the end of February, first of March.

Not interesting at all, it was his job the whole time if he wanted it. Ken Kendricks (Owner of the Dbacks, and Suns) along with Pat McAfee will be contributing a butt load of money to Country Roads Trust for Rich Rod to have money for NIL in the portal, so WVU can be relevant in football again. We have not been relevant since he left. WVU has not been ranked in the last 6 years under Neal Brown. Country roads, bring Rich Rod home!

My source tells me that, yes, Coach Mo is going to ride off into the sunset. Great career, but even a better man. Hate to see coaches with his character hang up the whistle but I understand.

This game is similar to last years Mayfield, OC game.

Being a WVU grad and huge fan, the fanbase and alumni have been crying for this since the Pitt game. While Neal has done a good job connecting with the State of WV, he has lost the fan base the last two years, and when you lose to your biggest rival, when you are up 10 with 3 minutes to go in the game, and in the postgame, make a comment it's not a big deal, it wasn't a conference game. Well Neal you could have gone 1-11 this year and beat Pitt and could have kept your job. Now the big question is who does Baker go after? He has done a great job as AD hiring coaches thus far. Are WBB team is in the top 15, and our MBB just beat #3 Gonzaga and #24 Arizona in the Bahamas.

Whomever thinks there will be a 2/3 TD difference, would you mind passing me what you are drinking that has to be some mighty good whatever. The only way I see either team winning by that margin is someone got hurt (GOD FORBID) in the game who was a key player for either team. I think this game will come down to who has the ball last!

In my opinion the answer is an outstanding, Yes!

No offense, but last year was last year, this is this year. When you look at the schedules these two teams have played, and played in the playoffs, it appears Beechwood has played a far superior schedule than OC, now with that said, OC can't help that they are in one of the weakest districts in the state. But here's the best thing of all. This game will not be played at the track and field venue at UK but at Commonwealth Stadium (I can't bring myself to call a football field a grocery store). I hope it's a heck of game, and with no injuries, I do think Beechwood wins, in a close game and OC is once again a bride's maid instead of the bride!
