WVU has hired Rich Rodriuguez once again as its next head coach. He has been rehired to replace Neal Brown. Rich Rod was the WVU coach from 2001-2007. Interesting hire to say the least.

Not interesting at all, it was his job the whole time if he wanted it. Ken Kendricks (Owner of the Dbacks, and Suns) along with Pat McAfee will be contributing a butt load of money to Country Roads Trust for Rich Rod to have money for NIL in the portal, so WVU can be relevant in football again.  We have not been relevant since he left.  WVU has not been ranked in the last 6 years under Neal Brown. Country roads, bring Rich Rod home!

I don’t consider this too surprising and could see this being a good thing for Mountaineers football again.

Will he last longer than Mack Brown did the second go round at North Carolina.

Absolutely he will. He has the big donor money behind him, and the administration behind him that he didn't have last time around. He's home and I'm guessing he will retire in Morgantown.

I would think so too. If he doesn’t retire in Morgantown I’d be pretty surprised.
