If Dixie wants any chance then they can't get behind. Once HHS gets the lead its over. Dixie has trouble keeping it together, as seen by the multiple leads they have blown in the 2nd half. If Pike turns the ball over early then the Dixie is in for a long night. If they do get behind they can't be yelling at the coach and questioning his play calls like we have seen. They have to keep there head up and just keep playing. This Highlands team will make mistakes. DHHS just has to capitalize on them. But this Dixie team just can't seem to keep their composure. Look for a semi-close 1st half then the Bluebirds to pull away, far away, in the 2nd.

Last Dixie game I saw there was a lot of arguing and fighting between the players and coaches. That just can not happen (especially when it's right there for everyone to see). Control will be huge in this game and that is something Dixie lacks. Birds will be birds. 40-13

No one plays worse in big games than Dixie. HHS by BIG!!!!!!!

Take nothing from Ryle. They are a good team. But they just don't have the team Trinity does. No one in KY does.

Scott is overall pretty success in sports. They have just neevr been able to put a winning team together. When was the last time they beat Dixie or SK?

I don't know much about Greenup County. But a 5-5 record is not worthy of the title "best team in school history". Unless they've been absolutley terrible.

1. Highlands is not a national power 2. Ryle is 4 TDs away from Trinity this year, although Ryle is a good team. 3. Trinity is the best team in KY this year by A LOT.

It would be quite a story for this Danville team to win the 2A title. I say all signs point to Newport Central Catholic.

I know Besty Lane used to be terrible in the early 2000's. Good to see a school really turn things around. Does anyone know Besty Lane's enrollment?

I don't see Beechwood being able to stop the NCC ground game. Also, I don't see Beechwood being able to run the ball as well as they usually do.

Senior night could mean a lot of emotion for Rowan County. That isn't always a good thing. I'll take MC by 2 TDs

Hempel is a senior I believe. Been starting since he was a sophomore for the orange and black raiders.

Wouldn't be shocked to hear about a Colonel victory. Wouldn't be schocked to hear about a Tiger victory.......By a lot. Not sure what to expect from these to films.

Saw this one from a mile away. The Birds are slow to the perimeter all night. It cost them.

I know Cooper has had a couple good frosh teams. So is next year the year Cooper picks up some Boone County wins?

The key to future success for SK is winning now. If SK wants to continue their winning ways then they need to get the talent that is in Kenton County. Many players go where they think they have a better chance of winning. If SK goes back to losing then many of the players that are not sure about what school they are going to attend might choose to go to another local high school because of Kenton County's open enrollment. If SK wants to continue to be competitive then they need to continue to be above 500. Which might mean playing teams that aren't as talented to keep the over all record looking good.
