Guru: Earlier this year you created some kind of link about 'Beechwood in Trouble' or 'Cupboard is bare' or 'Dynasty is over'. Something like that, I am not exactly sure what it was; but anyway, do you still think that there is trouble in the future for Beechwood?

I'm not sure this is a blow out as most think. Etown's last two losses are to two teams that are 9-0 combinded. The first 3 teams they lost to have a combined 7-6. So, it seems like they are losing to some good teams. Only one of the teams that etown has lost to has a losing record. Fort Knox is 1-3. I don't think Beechwood can afford to go into this game over confident. They better be ready both mentally and physically. I hope they certainly do not overlook this team or it could come up and bite them in the a....nevermind. Just my two cents worth.

The O-liine looked okay last night. Now the question is - Did Beechwood fix it or is HC defense that bad?

If Holy Cross is in the top 10, AA is hurting. They looked good in the 1st half against Beechwood but the 2nd half was horrible for them. Who have they beaten? Dayton?

I think the line will come together. They have a good line coach that should be able to pull them together pretty quickly. Out of the 5 lineman (tackle to tackle), they had 6 seniors working those spots. That leaves one open. I hear they have another senior that will fill that spot until one of the lineman come back. I do think that one will be back shortly (at least that is my hope). It could just make them stronger and deeper in the long run. At least that is my hope.

Like I stated in an earlier post. Winning the NKY freshman championship is over-rated and unimportant now. Maybe in 10 years, it may mean something to someone. But, means nothing in 2011. Beechwood didn't look so good last week and that is a concern. Mayfield is heating up with beating PT. I agree 100%. If Beechwood beats Holy Cross and then Cov. Cath. my feelings may change. But until then......

I don't think it will be a rout! I think it will be close especially if the fumbling team shows up. HC is a good team and could upset them. IMO
