I do agree with you about the slow kids VS the quick kids. There is no doubt that the game has changed; however, when you have had smaller lines for the last few years, it is exciting to have some size. I am not concerned with not being quick. Most have started the last few years doubt they have lost much quickness. I am not certain but I would say that there would be no linemen going both way. Some may sub in here or there, but not constant going both ways. But, then again, things do change.

Can we just talk about the 2011 season? This thread kind of took a wrong turn when we got into scholarships. I wish them all well regardless of where they go or what they do.

Let's bring this back to the top. I like talking Beechwood football. I was talking to one of the fathers of one of the boys last night at Kroger and he said that he estimates that the O-line will weigh in somewhere around the 250 avg. size. Very exciting! That isn't bad for A football. Center and left tackle around 270 and the others in the 240-245 range. I think my fat butt could gain 100 yards behind a line like that.

I hope so too! Like I said, seems like a great kid and his mother is a nice lady too. I wish the best for them. I just think that he would take a beating in the Big East. There is no shame in playing in the smailler division and I do think there will be many from this team that could play at smaller schools if that is their wish.

I love these kids on this team. I really do. I have a hard time believing that Cameron would be able to play in the Big East. He is what, 5'8" 150lbs? Every year there are all these kids from N. Ky that are going D1 and when the dust settles, there is only a handful that can play at that level. Let me be clear. I am not critizing any of the kids. It's just that so many fans think the kids on 'their' team are going D1 and it is harder than many reailize. I'm just saying........

VOR, I'm curious. What do you predict season record to be? Quickslick, do you have an opinion or their record? The only team that concerns me at this point is Dixie, but I could change my mind once I see this team when the season starts and see how they have developed since last season?
