Not sure if you were referring to me or not but I said if he was better than towels, he was better than I thought. I didn't see him play so I don't know. I would never belittle a teenage boy.

Doug played at Bellevue in the late 70's and early 80's in Baseball, basketball, and football. I believe that he is in their hall of fame. Probably scored 1000 points in basketball and was a tailback on the football team. Now that I think about it, he followed Mike Sutkamp; so, he may not have played in the 70's. Maybe just early 80's. Either way, he was an exceptional athlete at Bellevue during his time.

WOW! Are you saying that in 2010 he was better than Towels and would have started before him? If so, he is much better than I thought he was.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'throw a bone his way'; but, if it is in reference to inexperience and not being qualified, I disagree. He has been a coach at Campbel for many years and is a 'football guy'. He seems to know the game.

So Coach, I hear that there is a track meet this weekend. Can you answer these questions: Where is the meet? Is it for boys and girls? Are all the kids going? Are there field events too at indoor meets? I assume that there are, but not sure. Do you expect much involvement/attendance from the parents at these meets?

30 is a nice number for a A school. I have had some interaction with Wilson and I think he would be a coach. Or, would like to think that he would be. It would also be cool for a Bellevue guy to run the show. I can't remember the last time that a Bellevue guy was a Bellevue coach. Maybe never. I'll probably miss a few coaches, but going from recent to past: Shearer (sp) no Ecksiten(no-Boone Co.) cant remember name of coach (I think he was a Newport guy) Coleman (no- Newport) Bernier (no- Not sure where from but maybe boone) Adams(no-somewhere down south) Baldridge(no- I think the Murray area) Bishop (no-outer space)
