There are some great players at their postions, but as a all around player he is one of the best in the state.

 

Brady does some amazing things on the field.

 

Running, Throwing and his big plays on defense makes him a very special player.

 

His leadership makes everyone on his team better.

 

Brady's 99 yard interception return was very impressive.

You can certainly make the argument he's one of the top seniors in the state.

 

My guess is that the top players on the list will be PT, Wales, and Jude. I'm probably leaving some out. Brady could be top 5.

I'm not saying either. He is a very good player but unless he puts up those numbers against teams of merit, it's just not going to happen. I'm sure there has been plenty of players from NCC or Beechwood in the past who were "deserving" but its just not gonna happen. Maybe they should give the Heisman to a player from the Sun Belt conference.....

Refresh my memory, who nominates players and who decides/votes on this award? Is it purely the player or does success of the team influence the decision too?

If you dont have to be a senior then you have to mention Quick for Trinity....he is doing it against some serious competition.
