Mr. Football should not have to be playing in the championship game. it isn't the best player on the best team, it is the best (senior) player that year. Some of the greatest players don't play in the champoionship game. The best player can not get a team to the championship by themselves.

JD Harmon of Paducah Tilghman would have to be on that list

I dont know much about some of these players mentioned, I have however seen Harmon play, and he is a special player, I do have my doubts that Harmon can be considered as one of the elite players in the state though when Mayfield, specifically Higgenson, completely shut him down, while one man does not win a ballgame, a player that would be in consideration for Mr. Football should be able to make some spectacular plays which Harmon did not against the Cardinals.

So Elder playing in GCL means something? Should Pendelton mean something cause of the district they play in? I have seen Elder plasy this year and not only will HHS destroy them a few other teams in NKY could give them a game. This may be worst Elder team in 20 years. I have seen Dixie as well and other than Pike they are terrible. HHS schedule is weak this year, not their fault that these teams are having a bd season but it is what it is. With that said that has nothing to do with the play of this kid from NewCath. IMO top 5 player in Kentucky if he was a few inches taller he would be getting big time D1 offers.

 

I would not sell Elder short. They're a very good football team even though their record doesn't show it. Highlands will be given all it can absolutely handle with Elder.

I agree.....they will struggle to win that game in my opinion...Highlands that is.

Football-QB State Champ

Basketball-Guard/Forward 2nd leading scorer on team that lost in 9th region finals in 4 OT's. Maybe only sat out 2 minutes.

Baseball- Shortstop, leadoff hitter, 9th region champs, lost in 2nd round of state baseball tourney.

He is top 5 senior in state. Week in and week out the Breds play against school 2 or 3 times their size and he still cant be stopped.

I think Brady would get some D1 offers as a defensive back if he hasn't already. He may not be tall enough as a QB but defintiely a defensive back.
