I think he most certainly should be in consideration, especially if he leads the Breds to their 2nd consecutive state championship.

I havent seen Hightchew play, but I don't think he should not be in the running just because he plays weak teams. That definitely should be taken into consideration when choosing the best player, but I dont think he should be automatically tossed out of the conversation.

If Wales were to comitt to UK and break the all-time rushing record, I'd have to think he'd be Mr Football over Towles. If he comitts to UL or an out of state college, I think Towles would get it. I really don't think comitting to UK should be a factor in the decision, but, if the past is any indication, it probably will be.

Why do people always say that if they commit to Ky then they will get Mr. Football. In the past 10yrs there has only been 2 Mr. Football winners go to UK. Towles will win hands down.. He only plays half a game and puts up monster numbers..

That's one of reasons people say that. So many "Mr. Footballs" end up at other schools that when one of the finalist has already verbaled to UK, it gives UK an opportunity to get a Mr. Football.

I seen him play he is good. He plays like Chad Lawrence did last year but not as good as Lawrence. I would say Towles or Wales gets Mr. Football.

He is top 5 senior in state. Week in and week out the Breds play against school 2 or 3 times their size and he still cant be stopped.

In looking at NCCs schedule it looks like they have a pretty tough schedule for a 2A team except for a couple of thier conference games which they have to play, just like Highlands, Beechwood or anyone else. Based on his stats he definitely appears to be a top 5 candidate. Don't think he will win though but he deserves to be considered and the recognition.
