Two good teams. I think Scott has the edge in this one.

Don't think you'll find too many people that don't like Steiner as a person (other than the Duke thing). You'll find a mixed bag about his coaching/style and people skills. He has the disadvantage of being there a long time with some skilled guys on his staff (Jeff Davis, etc.) and a ton of 'good enough' talent that just didn't get the job done for one reason or another.

It's clear that FB has the focus at SK in boys sports. Don't believe me? Check out the attendance. Some of the worst attended home SK games in my 20 years in Indy. Where are all of the students at these games? Home studying for the ACT I guess.

Kelch is the most unimpressive 6'8" I've seen. Some of it is his fault, some due to lack of touches and horrid post entry passing.

Wait. Kelch had 19? I've yet to see him get more than a couple of touches a game. Did they actually throw it to him or get he actually get some stick backs?

Not sure who the zebras were but it was the best officiated game I've seen all year. They let kids play and were consistent all night long.

Heard TMS 6th stole one last night at home vs Highlands. A steal on an inbounds pass and basket at the buzzer for the win.

EKU will still be the third option for KY kids, requiring them to source talent from out of state. Glad to see that they are making an effort in KY.

What's the population at Metcalfe nowadays? They were a small school when I was a youngster. Can't have many students.

Usually when talent is lacking, you try to make up for it with effort. Not sure that is the case with this SK team.

Officials are the worst.

Watching SK stand at the 3 point line and jack up easy shots drives me crazy. Wish this team would pound the ball in to the post and cut off the entry pass when the double team comes. Lazy offense IMO. Niece continues to do her thing. She's special and isn't concerned about a little contact on her drives.
