Bill Mike Runyon at Paintsville should make the HM list

Since we're adding on. Yes, communication to the parents from this staff isn't the best. They do run it like college, to a certain extent, and are not concerned with all of the mommy/daddy drama. Good coaches? 2 of the 3 are outstanding. Do the players like the coaches? They like to win and the coaches are all about winning. Would they play as well for a 'softer' coach? Who knows.

Not like its the first time a player has transferred twice in less than a year. Seems HC should have some experience in these types of situations. She was able to experience a Sweet 16 at SK. Something she would not have if she had never moved back home or went to HC to start with. It's no secret that there was pressure for her to attend both schools. It's also no secret that she'd have to learn a new system and share the ball with one of the best players in the state at SK. She has no attachment to SK and she doesn't owe us anything. Wish her the best at HC.

Of the three, one may think she's better than the other two, and is completely wrong.

Indiana Elite is the cream of the crop in the Midwest. Great organization with super coaching and player development.

Congrats! Would love to see how her game develops without all of the set backs she's had with her health.

Grant went for 0 points in the 3rd quarter. JV played most of 3rd and all of 4th for SK.

I like the atmosphere at Henry and don't mind the drive from Independence. Wish there were some close options for food and better parking.

Too much talent on this SK team to lose this game. This team has a more substantial goal in mind. Just got to keep clipping off the wins.

My opinion only, the community expects this program to win the district annually and compete for a regional title. We're the biggest school in the district and one of the bigger in the region. There are no 'unfair' expectations of being the best team in the state or hanging a banner. There are teams we should beat that we just haven't lately. That's it. Beat who you should beat and compete like crazy against teams better than you and hope to pull an upset. That being said, basketball is hard. A turned ankle could be the difference in winning a region or going home early in a district game.

I'd like to see Williamstown in the regional tournament more than Grant County.

Fair statement, IMO. Boys basketball hasn't lived up to the expectations of the community over the past years.

A little surprised by this one. I thought Ryle had all the talent in Boone County. Nice win Conner!
