I think Jeff Co should build it. All of their programs are far superior than the rest of the state, no reason they shouldn't have the best of the best. I'm sure they could 'divert' some funds from other areas.

For anyone interested, SK platoons at the Frosh level, same as JV and Varsity. That group would like to win, but isn't breaking from the process that has been so successful in Independence just to win a game. No reason to panic SK haters. We're going to be just fine.

Surely Rick knew that he was getting trouble when he had to hire the kids mentor/buddy/manager to get him to Bowling Green. Once that guy quit, what was going to keep him there?

From what I hear, did a great job at EKU. Hope he has a great time in Nebraska...if that's possible considering it's Nebraska and it's not the 70's or 80's anymore for the football program.

If you don't like your spot on the depth chart, out work the guys in front of you. To me, leaving tells me you were either not willing to put in the time/effort to outwork someone or you have a false sense of your own ability. These coaches owe you nothing more than a chance.

I need to see the SK offense do what they do and the defense to keep FTH out of the endzone. In my mind, if this game is a shootout, it's a wasted opportunity for SK.

I do. SK has a great coaching staff that has created a ton of buzz about the program locally. We have a developing youth program that puts an emphasis on fundamentals and 'team'. In addition, Independence has had a large population increase in the past 10 years. Again, open enrollment does not help SK or Dixie. Both schools are full. Open enrollment would benefit Scott, if a student were to desire a move from DH or SK.

Radio caller- UL should win because Clemson just barely beat Auburn. Huh? Auburn has trophies in their case. Last check, UL's was bare. Auburn is a top 15 football team. Can't downgrade Clemson because they beat a really good Auburn team.

They should reprimand Jamele Hill for just be bad at her job. Now we know she's also bad at life.

Since it's the Bengals, and we can't agree on anything, is the signing with the Eagles a sign that 1). The Bengals do a good job drafting talented players or 2). The Bengals wasted a draft pick on a guy that wasn't going to make the roster or 3). Should have kept Elliot and cut Bullock.

As for SC, my take is you better enjoy being on top of that mountain while you can. Just hope you don't go to too low and get your heads handed to you by Beechwood or NewCath every year....even though you think they are awful now.

I'm guessing the road trip back from LaSalle will be a quiet bus ride for SC.
