Conner was down 12 at half. It was tied after the third quarter. Then it was back and forth in the final 3 minutes of the game with both teams having the lead. Conner took the lead for good with about 40 seconds left and made free throws to seal it.

Congrats to Conner! That's a tough first round district game to have to play.

A little surprised by this one. I thought Ryle had all the talent in Boone County. Nice win Conner!

Coach Levandusky at Cooper would get my vote based on more quality wins and a much improved record.

 

Cooper beat Conner 1 of 2, Scott Co., Highlands, Scott and Simon Kenton. They also beat a couple of quality Tennessee teams while losing a close one to Holmes. Conner besides splitting with Cooper beat Lafayette, GRC and Southwestern but lost to Mason Co., Highlands, Scott, SK and Holmes. Conner's record was improved from 22-12 last year to 25-6 but Cooper improved from 10-18 to 20-6.

A lot more to coaching then record. Game time adjustments begin prepared for your opponent that's how you measure a HS coach. They aren't exactly hand picking their team. Maybe they should add Co-coaches of the year.
