  1. That's what makes the board fun! Regardless, this was a good game to watch.
  2. As I stated in the prediction thread, this game would be won by less than a TD. Some Observations..... For the Colonels, Dressman and Pope are studs. I was surprised by the speed and running attack that Bir brought to the team. He's an athlete as well. I apologize in advance if I'm sleighting any other individuals, but those 3 stand out along with the D-Line for the Colonels. As for my Camels, let me start off by saying hopefully #4 Alex Howard isn't seriously injured and the ride to the hospital was just a precaution. A couple of props.... #58 Austin Richardson had some key tackles on D in the 4th Quarter to help the Camels stop the Colonels and return the ball to the Camels Offense for the final drive. #45 "Mr. Opportunity" Stewart Knaley was in the right place at the right time twice and scored both times. He also can kick the ball! #8 Avery Wood played nails tonight on Defense delivering some huge jaw shattering hits and directing the offense and his hard running. #10 Garrett Geiman had 3 tough catches in the final drive, 2 4th down catches for 1st down. Good luck to the Colonels on Saturday. Both of these freshman teams and the one from a few miles North of Alexandria will be fun to watch over the next couple of years!
  3. Look at the two posts directly above yours.
  4. All the games aren't listed. Conner was a 50 point win and Cooper was a 4TD plus win. Those being the last 2 games they've played. They also beat Boone at Boone. I don't remember the score.
  5. I didn't see the Cov Cath games vs those teams, but I did see the Campbell games and the reason they weren't lopsided was due to coaching. I'm not saying Campbell played 2nd string and Covcath played 1st, I'm saying the way Campbell was playing totally changed after going up 25 points against Dixie and having a 3 TD lead on SK. So yes, that's what I'm saying.
  6. I haven't seen CCH play this year, but know their players. I would disagree that CovCath is much more talented. I think the talent is pretty equal. The edge goes to CovCath due to coaching, IMO. However, home field advantage gives Campbell the edge for the game. I would be surprised if this game doesn't come down to the wire and is won by less than a TD by either side.
  7. From what I understand, Schweitzer will join the team after football. Additionally, Zach Harris will look to join the team after football. Highlands also picked up Ryan Green from St. Joe's who I believe won the 8th grade Diocesan championship where he was the 2nd leading scorer behind Verst on that team. Cov Cath's team will look good if all their football players decide to continue their hoops career in high school. I think the top teams in NKY will be: Conner Campbell Co. Highlands Cov Cath Boone Co Brossart
  8. Campbell coaches not giving this game the attention it deserved certainly didn't help CC's cause either. Congrats SK on the win and securing the 2 seed for the playoffs. Well deserved!
  9. If Campbell Co sticks to the offense that has made them succesful, Campbell will win this game. Containing Dressman and making CovCath throw the ball on defense is also necessary for a victory. Should be an exciting game! Both freshman groups are talented and should provide their respective schools with considerable success over the next couple of years.
  10. Hopefully you didn't just jinx your CCH frosh boys. Go Camels!
  11. Agree 100%! What Dale has done with that program is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, CC, along with other schools, can't figure out the secret sauce for success. We just can only sit back and watch in awe of their amazing feats. Good luck Camels this week!
  12. If you know anything about Troy, he won't be coaching then. He's stated publicly he's retiring in 4 years, if he gets the chance to retire. As for the bolded, Really? It is gone? I think you are sadly mistaken.
  13. Baby Birds win BIG! 42 - 7.
  14. With all due respect to the kids mentioned and to the Red Devils, #4 Howard is quickly becoming the Offensive STUD of this team and he DIDN'T play for the Red Devils. The kid basically broke 3 gang tackles in one play on Thursday night. Having Zabonick and Hoskins healthy would also help this group!
  15. Curious, to any Camel faithful who know.... Who was in the booth calling the offense prior to the 2nd half of NCC's game? The 2nd half of NCC's game Siple was calling the offense but for the 1st half of that game and the prior two games I believe it was someone other than he or Culp. Is that correct? I will wait to comment until I get a confirmation.
  16. Obviously the reason for the schedule - but that's not playing around! One of the toughest schedules I've seen in KY basketball in a while. Good luck!
  17. CC equally as bad and I don't see a win on the rest of their schedule. Maybe this will play out to a draw?????
  18. I know the spread is the hot new offense, but how does a school the size of CC not play a Power I or a run it down your throat offense with some passing sprinkled in?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
  19. Final. SK had the 23 - 10 lead at half. CC held them scoreless in the 2nd half ending SK's hopes with an interception on the 1 yd line inside of the final minute. This brings CC's frosh record to 2 -1 on the season.
  20. Wow! Tough schedule! What's Clark's RPI rating?
  21. I'm finding it difficult to locate another win on the schedule this year......
  22. Definitely Agree! He'll have a few scoring blowout games this year to top his 33 against SK last year!
  23. Some in the late 2nd Quarter.
