League schedue/Tournament schedule won't be completed until October. All teams will make the tournament and it's a one and out. The tournament is seeded based on the regular season win-loss record.

CC Red Devils split with the Spartans today, with the Pee-Wee's and Senior Red Devils continuing their undefeated seasons. The Senior Division Red Devils won handily over the Spartans 35 - 6. Zach Harris, Thomas Wrobleski, Casey Pelgen and Brandon Hergott all scored touchdowns for the Red Devils.

Campbell Co Red Devils continued their dominance sweeping the Bellevue Tigers last night in Bellevue. In the senior division, the Red Devils defeated Bellevue 24 - 6 with Bellevue scoring with :03 seconds left in the game. This sets up a great game in Campbell County against the Spartans on Sunday 9/13.

He will probably just stick to AAU for now. Animated is such a nice word. More like "well behaved".

I believe the 6th grade coach will be the Omega coach. 7th - ???? and 8th will be Bradshaw (that's the word on the streets).

The 2 you mentioned along with Harris and Wood.

CCMS has 4 members (3 starters) of the NKY Wolfpack (2 started school there this year). These guys lost to the KY Elite in the semis of the AAU state tourney. I believe that they will be a tough, if not impossible, out for all the teams in this league. It will come down to coaching:laugh:

Zach Harris and Avery Wood. Harris is the little brother of Jared Harris. Both will be attending Camp Co next year.

Actually, Kevin likes to throw the ball more than you would think. He does have 2 stud running backs, but we throw the ball alot. His son plays TE?????:sssh:

Last year it wasn't allowed. It was written in the bylaws. They were posted last year in a thread. It is correct!

From my understanding, Walton has decided to not be a part of any league and play an independent schedule. This allows them to let their players play in their own grade and up which NKMSBL hasn't allowed in the past. On a side note, I look for the CCMS and Conner 8th grade teams to be the teams to beat at that age.

Campbell County Red Devils opened the season today against the Covington Bengal Tigers at Mills Road Field. The Red Devils swept the PeeWee, Midget, Junior and Senior divisions. The Senior Red Devils defeated the Bengal Tigers 42 - 12. Standout players of the Senior game included: Red Devils Zach Harris, Avery Wood, Brandon Hergott, Thomas Wrobleski and Garrett Geiman. Geiman returned an interception for 55 yards and a touchdown. Harris had multiple runs over 20 yards and he and Wood dominated the defensive side of the ball. Brandon Hergott made a great catch while Wrobleski ran the ball hard racking up a ton of yards. For the Bengal Tigers, #23 Jonathan Scruggs ran 2 long touchdowns. This kid has wheels! Anyone have any other game details for the weekend?

Is this a list in order, or just listing 15 players. If it's in order, I would argue McGovney is Top 5, at least Top 10.

He was playing with kids that are going to freshman at BCHS. He is definitely not 5'10". I spoke with him and he is maybe 5'9".

Ockerman feeds Boone. I have a hard time believing Mustafa is contributing at the U17 level. I saw him play in a U14 game and he was far from being the top 3 on the floor. He's maybe 5'9" and doesn't shoot particularly well from the outside. Maybe he improved tremendously from the 3 weeks earlier when I saw him????:confused:

You know that I respect your opinion greatly and we've had our battles (mentally) on the court numerous times (I still contend I got the screws put to me the last time), I have to disagree with you. Granted, I didn't see Snider play this year, but I would have to go with Hatton as the best player in the 13U age group, then Portwood, Davis, Craig ? (Louisville Legends) and McNeil as the top 5 in 13U.

There were only 2 teams (KY Elite & DS Allstars) that signed up Division I. Essentially the U13 state was a DI tournament due to not enough teams for a split. I think there are enough kids to have a Top 15, there just isn't one person who has seen all 13 year olds play to know who should and who shouldn't be on the list. It will continue to be an opinion....but opinions are fun - that's what makes this board great.

Who is Langford? Where does he play/attend school?

This is an old list from last summer 2008. There are 3 players who shouldn't be on the list any longer. Most are taller than the sizes listed.

I would definitely agree that Jackson Davis has the greatest potential at this age. His size and athleticism are impressive!
