Ryle/Campbell County (Frosh)

Featured Replies

Campbell County beats Ryle 34 - 7. Ryle came out flat and Campbell CTY. never looked back. Heard Ryle did not have their starting QB due to a concussion suffered last week.

Campbell County stopped the run and Ryle did not do a very good job doing so.

Do you know why #7 for Ryle never went back into the game?

Camel defense led by #54 Kremer did an outstanding job. #4 really set the tone for the Camel offense running the ball.

I also thought the QB from Campbell was impressive, he is a very hard nosed kid.

The biggest difference I saw was up front. With the exception of a few plays here and there, the O and D lines of Campbell dominated the lines of Ryle.

Sorry to hear the starting QB had a concussion, I hope everything turns out OK for him.

Hopefully this is a sign of change for the future for Camels football. The 8th grade team has also played very well this year. Perhaps, the benefits of the youth football program are starting to be realized.

What is CC record this year?

Could not have said it better myself.

Hopefully so, I will be playing in the CCYFL golf outing tomorrow to raise some money for the organization. If any former Camels want the program to be on par with the other top notch programs it has to be done with a good youth program as the foundation.

Golf Outing? On par? I know where your mind really is right now 2 Humped Camel (LOL)!

I agree. The future appears very bright........

The Camels did very well at the frosh level when coach Miller was the head coach, but things fall apart when they move up. So hopefully things will start changing, we can only hope.

I think we will all see a big difference with the young kids coming up. A lot of these kids had a chance to go to other schools but wanted to be part of the change. Let's hope the momentum keeps turning.

Good Job Camels. The majority of players on Frosh are Red Devils. There are some good players. Wood, Geiman, Richardson, Kremer, Sebastion could play for any team.

With all due respect to the kids mentioned and to the Red Devils, #4 Howard is quickly becoming the Offensive STUD of this team and he DIDN'T play for the Red Devils. The kid basically broke 3 gang tackles in one play on Thursday night. Having Zabonick and Hoskins healthy would also help this group!
