Bob Beatty will have the Rocks back in State Championship form again this year could be 20. The Rocks have been really solid the last two years in Fresh- and JV ball so back to the top is the goal. Who is the new defensive coordinator does anyone know?

What is going on with the Rocks baseball team, they have a losing schedule and are not playing very well. This is the same class that are now seniors that started as Super Sophs only one doing much is Littrell. They appear to be burned out and not motivated to even play the game. Does anyone have any outside news about the team. As stated earlier a couple of seniors have quit one came back, the Rocks are again playing new class of super sophs, hope the coaching staff don't ruin these guys as they have in the past. We may need a change in Rockland, does Coach Beatty :notworthy:know much about baseball?

:laugh::ylsuper:Congrarts to Cubbage, he did a wonderful job with my son at Trinity for four years, playing football and baseball. He dosen't get the respect that he should, this may help us all appreciate him even more than the rock faithful have before.:dancingpa:banana::walk:

Another Trinity baseball Player Quits Team. A Starter Second Baseman has quit the team, this is the second senior who was a starter that quit the team. The first was a pre-season all state player. That player came back after his father forced him to come back. Are these senior baseball players trying to tell the Rocks Administration that there is a problem with the baseball program, and or its coaching staff. Someone needs to investigate this and the past three or four years teams to find out what is going on in Rock Land.

:confused:Is there any truth that a pre-season All State Baseball player has quit the Trinity Baseball Team. I also heard that another senior is planning on quitting both of these are starters. Does anyone know anything about these issues.

At Trinity, Coach Beatty and the staff he has accumulated is the difference between getting to the championship game and winning the State Championship. Even though the Rocks fell short this year it may well be his best coaching job while at Trinity. Look out for the next three years the Rocks will show a dramatic difference. Has anyone heard any rumors about Trinity getting a new defencive coordinator for next year, has Terry Bean retired or is that just another rumor off of the mill? GO ROCKS

My Perdiction is that the Trinity Rocks will be back at their usual place in the Kentucky Football World. State Champs 2010-201?-201?-201?. I just talked with a Former Rock All State Player who had two sons play for the Tigers one graduated in 2006 with no rings and one this year who did get a State Championship. He said his son would of died if the Tigers didn't finally win a State Championship. I guess it really has to feel good to finally beat the Rocks, my son is still sporting the three state championship rings from 2005-2006-2007 and he says they still all feel great. It is pretty easy to chirp about repeating, since the Tigers finally got a win against Beaty. But correct me if I am wrong Beaty does not graduate and he will be back and the Rocks will begin at the least,another three peat performance with the stock of players that will return no matter what class they are in. The Tigers at least put a little bit of fun back into the State Championships, but it never gets old 8 out of 10 this decade!:dancingpa:banana::ylsuper::jump:

I heard on the news last night channel 32 in Louisville, that Collinsworth would commit today to Kentucky at the Paul Horning Awards ceremony, anyone know if this information is correct or not?

Congrats to the Tigers, you have finally put some competition back into this high school classic, at least for this year anyway. The Rocks are loaded for the next three years, look for another three peat. Coach Glaser showed again what a emotional classless caracter he is. The hat trick has to be another one of his embarasing acts,to all tiger fans even though they may not admit it. It has to be a pretty rough week for the X faithful, and Coach Glazer. The have to know that Beatty is coming full bore at them again and they have to be worrying about the results of the last few years. I recently heard Glazer say at a parish booster club meeting that he still thinks that X had the best team in 05 and 07, just keep thinking that and the Rocks will just keep rolling. In 2005-2006 they played Lexington Henry Clay at Henry Clay, Petrino was senior i think they also played another game on the road that season.

Most Male High School football fans have not recovered from the 2006 Playoff loss to Trinity, which was just zapped out from under them. I heard QB Pertino told the offense late in the game when they were backed up on thier own 20 yd line down 10 points that they were going to win the game and it appears that they all believed him. One of the greatest high school games ever in Kentucky, maybe the best, due to not only great offense but great defense to. Go ROCKS!:ylsuper:

OXNARD, The Rocks are just where they are every year at this time,getting better each and every game. We know again that we cannot play with the Tigers this year either as in the past four years, you just keep thinking that. The Rocks will be there again, you all better hope that the Tigers do win it this year because the Rocks are loaded the next three years. Peebles and Junior Varsity were undefeated this season, just think what Beatty can do with that bunch! Go Rocks

I wondered what is going on with the kicker Nick Robertson? Is he still on the team or recovering from the bad back. The third season of the year begins on Friday night and I hope all goes well for the ROcks, They have the only coach that can turn this season around. I don't believe that the Tigers left anything on the shelf as far as offensive plays go, Buehner has not run the ball very much all year and Glazier even stated in a Courier Journal article they were saving him so that he does not get hurt. So Beatty and Co. got to see him running at his best and the score was still 13-6 late in the game, so go ahead and get your hopes up but remember Beatty and Co. win in December every year and I don't see it any different this year. Go Rocks. Does anyone know about the injured player as far as his condition? :jump:

Corey Littrel is probabley the best pitcher in the state. I was told that "LIL BUBBA" Andrew Bowling quit the Trinity Baseball Team for a week or two and his Dad, Big Bubba Bowling said he would send him to J-Town or Seneca, take away his car and several other items if he quit his senior year. Now he wants Lil Bubba to pitch this year! Also rumored that Carney wants to quit baseball too. Does anyone have any info about this:taz:.

What is the status on the big Forns kid as a starter as a offensive lineman? What grade school is he from? What is going on with all the coaches leaving, and did the right coaches leave to help the Tigers win a state title But the real issue is still going to be Glaser he just cannot seem to beat Beaty when it really counts. It really does amaze me how after graduating from high school the St. X and Trinity Football Players seem to become pretty good friends. I guess that makes the programs what they are today.

Trinity Baseball has some very serious internal issues and until they get those resolved they will always struggle at Applebee's Park. I wonder what would happen if Trinity Football was on the same path as the Baseball Program would there be changes made? Great Season Rocks glad it's football season again.:ylsuper:

The Atlanta Constitution Newspaper, quoted today that RICK PITINO has been contacted by the Atlanta Hawks about the head coaching position, and that he was to meet with them today. I just heard this from a source in Atlanta that I have business dealings with. Anybody else heard this or know anything about it. I really can't believe that this lady has a chance to run Rick out of town, but she sure sent little Richard packing to Florida in a hurry, especially after hearing Rick say he would write him out of the family will if he left Louisville.:deadhorse::idunno::sssh:

I wonder if there is a game at Commonwealth Stadiun on Friday, maybe they could move the game there and not change it to a Saturday night game.

I heard Trinity kept some sophmores on the varsity team that may only be able to throw 50 mph. Coach T must be planning for the future games against Cal or do these sophs have dads that are buds with Coach. How much longer must the rock faithful have to wait until Trinity goes out and gets a baseball coach the caliber of their football and basketball programs?

Jimmy-Ref, As I have heard you say many time at several different sporting venues ( be it high school or grade school) it just an honor to be on the same field with (whom ever the opponett is). It is our honor to keep winning those rings especially from the X-Men.:ylsuper::laugh::jump:
