Trinity scored in the bottom of the 7th. Score was 2-1.

Nope.

No, the runner was held on the wild pitch. It was a shutout. Trinity left runners at 2nd and 3rd.

Thank goodness for football. Seven on seven at home next Wednesday at 6PM.

I was just going off of Mike Field's live blog. I assume he is at the game - I wonder why he thinks they pushed a run across in the bottom of the 7th.

Sorry about that.

Nope.

Tough to have Rueff pitch so well and not get any offensive support. Logan Dailey must have gotten the outs when he needed them. Tough way to lose.

Tough loss for Rueff. No earned runs.

I feel horrible for Littrell. Burying your grandfather 80 miles away while your team loses in the Elite 8. That young man has got to be hurting right now.

The runner on third would of scored, I'm sure. No sense in risking it, though, with the tying run on second.

Did the Littrell kid graduate? Can't imagine what he must be feeling. Good luck to him down the road.

I didn't realize that Littrell wasn't there, our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Great game to watch, but obviously a tough way to lose for T without one of your best. Great season for the Rocks, nothing to be ashamed of.

Congrats to the Breds, beat Catholic.

Congrats to the Breds.:thumb:

Rueff did pitch very well. Thoughts and Prayers to Littrell and his family.

Hats off to Logan Dailey for pitching a complete game shut-out and coming up really big when he had to. An outstanding game to watch. Small ball can win big games.

I am very happy for Matthew Dye of Harrison County who had to sit this one out because of a terrible call in the Semi-State by the homeplate umpire and the KHSAA and Julian Tackett for not having the backbone to make things right on the call. Good luck to Thorobreds! Win it all inspite of the Men in Blue and the KHSAA.

Harrison won BUT from my perspective they weren't the team that had issues with the men in blue today.
