Rocks had a good year. Not too many people expected them to get out of district this year. Hats off. It shows you need experience to play at Applebees and Trinity is a young team with only 5 seniors. Rocks should make it back next year riding on the shoulders of Littrell and Fuchs. But, the bats have to come alive. Besides hitting, Tompkins should work on how not to get into triple play. Good luck next year....

I want to know who were the people that didn't expect them to get out of their district this year? That's crazy to think about all they have to do is beat Seneca or Waggener every year, it's not to hard to do that.

That's what I thought you meant, and honestly I didn't think Trinity would get out of the region either. By Trinity standards I thought this was a down year for them, but they proved me wrong they played very well down the stretch. I would love to see them against Harrison County at full strength and see how it goes from there, but it's over with Trinity had a nice run going to miss watching Chris Berry that kid was fun to watch.

Trinity Baseball has some very serious internal issues and until they get those resolved they will always struggle at Applebee's Park.

The fact the elder Littrell passed away the same week as the finals didn't help.

 

The fact the KHSAA mishandled completely the playing of this game versus Harrison County tainted the tourney.
