Frankfort should be fine this week and get a victory over a very young but talented Franklin Co. squad. Too many misalignments and dropped passes last week cost the panthers and i expect that this will be taken care of this week in practice. The pieces of the puzzle are slowly coming together. With focus and some resiliency...this team could make as much noise or more as the past two squads and do it with a lot fewer weapons.

Tackling is definately an area of improvement Frankfort will need to focus on to continue heading in the right direction. Need to really get the killer instinct definsively and play with a mean streak. Showing up at the ball with "Bad Intentions" is going to be key to stepping up the physicality that is needed.

I think they can I definately think they did a great job of weathering the storm against Christian Co. Highlands and NKY in general have a great football program from the youth league on up and thats the key. Highlands was impressive last night.

He also was tearing FCHS run defense to shreds in the first quarter before he hurt his shoulder diving into the end zone after scoring a TD. He missed the majority of the 2nd qtr and wasnt the same the rest of the game. He doesnt get hurt and the outcome of the game is completely different.

Quan Weaver Jr RB/LB Not sure on weight lifting stats but he is a bull. Legit 4.4 kid who runs with both power and speed. Rushed for over 2,000 yds this year with close to 30 TD's and his all purpose numbers put him at around 2,500. Except for Beechwood, I dont think that anyone really kept him in check and he was close to 100 against the tigers top ranked run defense. Right now he is getting looks from both UK & UL.

No the tigers, as you stated have only lost to NCC, a great football team. I am saying that they have played a soft schedule. They haven't beat too many quality teams, regardless of the Class A schedule. I am sure the NKY faithful will argue different but its true.

Beechwood is no doubt tough but you do have to look at Beechwoods schedule. I dont think that many teams they played are above .500 and one of those teams they lost to. We are looking forward to the challenge and humbly look forward Friday. This one will be no walk in the park for either team.
