10 Good
  1. Highlands wins this one about like they did last year. I see a score of 28-7 or 35-14. CC is a good football team but will not beat Highlands unless Highlands preforms like they did against Bryan Station.
  2. John Hardin wins this one 35 - 28. CC has a solid team with many weapons, but the Wing - T is hard to defend when you don't see it very often. JH's speed on Offense may be too much for CC just as it was for Oldham and Doss. However, this could turn in to a shoot out with the team that has the ball last winning. This will be a great game played in a great Friday night high school football atmosphere!
  3. What do you mean how is Matt Litton playing?
  4. I thought Doss played really well. Doss has a great football team. John Hardin was just better on this night. Good job Coach Farmer, staff and players, you had a great year!
  5. JH (a Hardin Co. school) scrimmaged Eastern this year and beat them by two or three scores, as well as Bryan Station (who almost knocked out Highlands) which they beat by two scores. Scrimmages don't mean much, but just wanted to point out that JH would not only compete with those teams you mentioned but could beat them if they played well. How soon people forget the 05 season when JH knocked two Louisville schools out of the playoffs that were supposed to dominate them (Male/PRP), and had St.X on the ropes (as stated by easypro in an earlier post). TigerKat take a look at JH's record against Louisville schools before you make uninformed statements. JH vs. Male -1/1 JH vs. PRP -1/0 JH vs. St.X -0/2 21-20 / 28-14 I think that's being very competitive which is more than I can say for most Louisville 6A schools. JH vs. Seneca - 2/0 JH vs. Fern Creek 1/1 JH vs. Doss 2/1 These are the ones I can think of off the top of my head, but as you can see JH has been very competitive when it comes to playing Louisville schools.
  6. "Duh". Do people even say that anymore? You said they have not slacked off I was just asking about those two weeks that they lost. By the way, Doss lost to Fern Creek who just lost to Scott Co. who lost to Oldham Co. who lost to JH who lost to Doss. What does that mean? Absolutely nothing! So, with that being said, JH wins and I'm sticking with my original score 35-21.
  7. Probably, since Bowling Green got beat last week by OHS. I'm sure neither JH or Doss are looking ahead right now, but I think both teams would match up well with OHS or CCHS.
  8. The Doss TD in the 3rd was scored after a long kick return to the 10 or 15 yard line. The QB scored on the next play. I would say that TD was a result of the long kick return. Maybe that's where he got the two kick returns for TDs. Regardless it will be another good game.
  9. Doss beat JH in the regular season 27-21 for the district championship. This is for the Region! Who wins and why? My prediction: John Hardin plays with a chip on their shoulder and avenges the regular season loss. JH-35 Doss-21 Mod. can we get a poll?
  10. ColonelMike is right. The game was closer than the score indicates. Oldham Co. has a very solid team, #40 is the best LB I've seen all year and #20RB and #3 QB were great competitors. OC is a very hard nosed football team! As expected JH's speed was too much on offense, and their Def. was able to slow the OC. Offense down enough to win the game. If JH continues to play as they have the last three weeks, they will be very hard to beat. Looking forward to the Doss game next week, should be a good one!
  11. Should be a great game. Oldham has been flying under the radar for most of the season and John Hardin has lost a lot of respect from the BGP faithful after the Doss loss. Two solid teams so who wins this game and why? My prediciton: John Hardin's speed is too much for Oldham- JH-21 OC-14
  12. Great game by the dawgs! I think they are hitting their stride. Tough game next week against a strong Oldham Co. team.
  13. FYI, not that Scrimmages mean a lot, but John Hardin beat Bryan Station in their scrimmage this season 21 - 7. Station's only score came from a long run by their fast RB.
