Congrats to the Jackets! :thumb: :ylsuper:

Congratulations to Central.

As I feared, they were just too much for the Bobcats.

Regardless, I'm proud of Breathitt's performance today. Despite a 21-point loss, I thought they showed up and represented themselves well. They were right in this game until a huge swing at the end of the first half put Central ahead 21-7 going into the locker room.

Breathitt still fought back and gave themselves a chance, but Central just didn't make any mistakes and give them an opening once they got control of the game.

All in all, its hard to be disappointed from a Breathitt perspective. This team has a lot coming back, so they stand a solid chance to make a return trip to the pizza box. They arrived a year early and found out what its going to take to bring another trophy back to Jackson.

Hopefully, they'll use this as a learning experience and motivation in the off-season to get back here and change the result.

Again, congratulations to Central. Winning two in a row ain't easy.

Congrats to Central and to a tough Breathitt squad.

If Breathitt does make it back to the championship game the next couple years, it won't be to the pizza box. It will be to the Houchens grocery store in Bowling Green!

Are the finals moving? I'm ignorant to this development.

:thumb: They'll be in Bowling Green next year.

These two teams will likely be the pre-season favorites to meet again in next year's final...

For Central...

Chris King (Jr.), Diaz Bolden (Jr.), Anthony Wales (Fr.), Stephan Robinson (Jr.)

For Breathitt...

Jade Haddix (Jr.), Channing Fugate (Jr.), Zack Epperson (Jr.), Dakota Ritchie (Jr.), Josh Fletcher (Fr.)

Both have a lot of talent returning.

Congrats to Central

FYI...

Channing Fugate finished the year with 279 carries for 3052 yards (10.9 ypc) and 36 TD. In addition to that, he caught 27 passes for 353 yards (13.1 ypr) and 2 TD.

That's 306 touches for 3405 yards (11.1 ypa) for 38 TD.

Just wanted to congratulate that young man on a magnificent season, even if it didn't end the way we'd hoped.

That's play station numbers! He is a great high school back!

Congratulations to Central and Coach Scroggins.
