Great game all around! Central was exactly what I had thought they would be, and Coach Scroggins and his staff did a great job!

 

Breathitt was a formidable foe, and the game was great. Fugate will be fun to watch again next year, and I'm sure will have another season of monster stats.

 

One note that I find interesting...Central had 4 or 5 fumbles, but only lost the ball once. I thought that was really impressive! That's some great awareness on their part, and really helped them.

 

Again, I had fun watching this game, and congratulations to both teams, but especially to Central, who I feel Coach Scroggins has solidly brought out of obscurity!

I just want to share something I read in the C-J this morning about Central's Hughes. I think it's something that needs reading, and I have an unlimited amount of admiration and respect for this young man's committment and courage.

And based on my experience at Papa Johns, I am looking forward to Bowling Green. Papa Johns seems very understaffed and basically disinterested in serving the fans. I think Bowling Green is going to roll out the red carpet and really take care of the fans.

I was impressed with Central's QB throwing the ball. He was elusive in the pocket but put some very nice zip on the ball.

Folks always talk about the "Big 3" in Louisville, T, X, & H. I think Central may have flown under the radar and passed H as the #3 team in Jefferson County. Way to go Jackets!
