Raleigh was assisstant principal at FHS last year but he is now principal of Bondurant middle school here in Frankfort. Super good dude and a great supporter of FHS athletics in his short stay with us. Raleigh was a class act.

I dont think the cold would keep keep people away next week. The first two games were cake, this one is the one we have been waiting for.

Hats off to Gallatin Co and their staff. They had a great season and the program is heading in the right direction. Frankfort had a few lapses in concentration turning the ball over a couple of times. That wont cut it next week. Next up, Beechwood and what is building up to be one of the best games in the state next Friday night. Guarantee Sower Field will be electric next week.

I was just saying that there has to be more than just on field teamwork. I'm following you though and agree with what your saying. We just have to stay focused in all facets of the game both on and off the field.

Team work should happen in the classroom before it happens on the field. A family will not a family fail or so i have been taught. Being ineligible has been a problem that key players have encountered recently and it could be the demise of FHS if not treated internally. It could be a bigger problem in later rounds. Its time to rally around the family and fix the internal problems.

The fast paced FC offense can do damage to an undisiciplied defense. With that being said, Boyle is as good as they get at executing. A lack of execution could spell FC demise. I look to BC to execute and continue their push to the state championship.

Its all about accountability at the end of the day. No one is bigger than the program and either you buy in or you dont. Ultimately we are teaching life lessons through football and the bottom line is that in life, if you dont handle your business, your business will handle you. The young man in question has to realize that he is ultimately accountable for his actions and that he is only hurting those around him. The day any coach/program loses site of this is the day that the program is going in the wrong direction.

The Bellvue game was no fluke. Gallatin is hungry and there is nothing more dangerous than a hungry team with nothing to lose. Gotta go to work this week and take care of business

Frankfort by a few touchdowns. Gotta get out early and end the game in the 1st half. The longer Gallatin hangs around, the more dangerous they become.

you are spot on with the assessment Coach. Williamsburgs QB is deadly on the run and is not a bad passer. I take Williamsburg in a close one.

FCHS defense is going to have a very difficult time dealing with the rebels. Boyle Co is consistently good and that is due to good coaching. They are year in and year out techically sound in all areas. Fundamental football wins game and Boyle is clearly head and shoulders above FCHS

Coach B has it right. Hang in there Wolverines, the program is going in the right direction.

Thats how we Hit down in Central KY Agreed box......Q brought pure wood on that one. As an old school panther and coaching staff member, we have always had our share of headhunters at FHS. Believe it or not, the kids dont hit like that in practice and we havent been consistently physical or nasty but that hit is a sign of the intensity that will be needed in the next rounds. :fire:

Frankfort did a great job tonight. Did a very good job of containing Daytons QB and played well defensively. Could of executed a bit better with the passing game but thankfully the ground game was up to par. So much for smashmouth football. I was underwhelmed by the LB #21 and Daytons intensity overall. Great win, Dayton kids and staff were both very classy. What about the block on Tillmans TD punt return by Quan? Good lord that hurt me.

Beechwood

the game is going to be a tough one as most on these boards know. There is no doubt that NKY football, Dayton included are very solid, year in and out. I still dont think that Dayton has the horses to keep up with Frankfort. Should be an interesting match-up. As far as beechwood goes, they put their pants on one leg at a time just like anyone else. They are beatable on any given night but to do that you have to make fewer mistakes than they do and play fundamentally sound ball. Beechwood is a lot like Danville was when Frankfort began playing them 5- 6 years ago. The first two or three times we played, kids were scared to death just because it was Danville. Over time we began to realize that Danville was human just like we were and the fear was gone. Once that happened, well..................

Frankfort Vs. Danville Danville came back from a 21-7 defecit at halftime to pull ahead by 3 with 40 seconds. Frankfort finished them off with a Dwight Tillman touchdown with 12 seconds to go in the game. Truly as exciting as it gets.
