Last night's Belfy-Johnson Central game has to be considered. Both teams were undefeated, it was the end of the regular season, they are big-time EKY powers, and the game was very close.

Yes it does, but I'm sure others have some good arguments too.

Frankfort Vs. Danville

 

Danville came back from a 21-7 defecit at halftime to pull ahead by 3 with 40 seconds.

 

Frankfort finished them off with a Dwight Tillman touchdown with 12 seconds to go in the game.

 

Truly as exciting as it gets.

I'm not sure what exactly you're going for here. If you're talking biggest game size-wise, X-T, no contest. If you're talking most exciting, that's debatable.

 

I'll use my powers of bias to throw the Manual v. Central game out there, where Central's bad snap led to a last-minute victory for the Crimsons. Plus they're both good teams, and it was their first game this season, so that gives something else to it.

Trinity over St.X of Ohio... Maybe not the biggest but anytime a Ky. team beats an Ohio power it's big..

If we're talking most exciting game then you definetly need to throw in the Covcath-NCC game. Covcath trailed 20-0 only to fight back and take the lead, lose the lead, take the lead back, lose the lead again, and then score with 20 seconds to go to win the game.

How about the Henry Co. vs Western Hills game, earlier this year.

No game in the state was as hyped, with as many story lines, and with as good of quality of teams playing in a tight game that comes down to a last second Hook and Ladder attempt.

Raceland/Russell

 

Two quality programs just 5 miles apart, a lot of pre-game hype, large crowd, great game. Final score 30-23, good close game with a lot of emotion. Great game.

 

I think this game will continue to be a good, big game for years to come.

I'll put my 2 cents in and say McCreary Central scoreing 30 in the 4th quarter to beat Madison Southern 36-35! It was definately the most exciting game of our season and set the school recored for the largest margine come from behind victory. Can anyone tell me what the largest margine a team came back to win from in the 4th quarter? I am talking about KY high school football!

It was a great gam, for three qtrs anyway. It fell off a little after that.

I was not there but Christian County down by 34-14 on the road at Owensbore scoring 28 unanswered points in the 4th quarter to win the district championship has to rank up high on the list.

The New Cat, Cov CAth game earlier in the year was a great one. Many lead changes, a huge comeback to even be in the game, and maybe the greatest high school catch I have ever seen. Although I wasn't happy with the outome, I walked away saying it was a heckuva game!
