The radio just said 235 yards on 16 carries.

Not happy with the way the Panthers played first 5 minutes of the game. But they got things together and played great defense. Got to get things together for next week.

Hats off to Gallatin Co and their staff. They had a great season and the program is heading in the right direction.

 

Frankfort had a few lapses in concentration turning the ball over a couple of times. That wont cut it next week.

 

Next up, Beechwood and what is building up to be one of the best games in the state next Friday night.

 

Guarantee Sower Field will be electric next week.

I dont think the cold would keep keep people away next week.

 

The first two games were cake, this one is the one we have been waiting for.

Frankfort had a lot of pentalties along with fumbles. Seems as if the cold is starting to effect some Panthers.

 

Good victory tonight team, glad to see the defense step up. Enjoy this weekend, practice hard all week!

I think this needs to be said many times over. Gallatin County has made great strides in no time. They are legitimately the second best team in that district (not a stacked district, but remember Gallatin is basically brand new). I look for them to continue getting better. Hopefully they can get some more numbers in the program in coming seasons.

Raleigh was assisstant principal at FHS last year but he is now principal of Bondurant middle school here in Frankfort.

 

Super good dude and a great supporter of FHS athletics in his short stay with us. Raleigh was a class act.

Very impressed with both programs especially with the number of young players each team has. Very impressed with #9 and #22 and #9 will be a handful next week. Very cold night on the river bank in Frankfort. JD
