Think Bama will win they have best team and coach and they beat NO. 2 team in SEC chanpionship game. Bama too fast on defense for Horns too handle and too strong on offense.

As Florida fan admire Coach Brooks think he did about all he could do with the talent he had. Yes there were some games he could have won but all teams have that happen. Hats off from Gator fan to a fine man and football coach.

Agree 5wide always makes some good posts. Really only way to determine anything is to have playoff. Last year 5wide thought USC best I thought Florida best. Let's have playoff 8 or 16 to see who is best. If 2 teams from same conference make championship game then elite teams in that league are the best.

In all fairness the last few seasons the top 2 teams in the SEC have been 2 of the best in the country. All conferences have good teams it just seems last few years SEC have the best team or teams. 3 National Champs in a row and a chance for 4 is hard to beat.

SEC as a whole was down this season. Florida didn't have the fire power on offense as they did last season. But Still think Bama and Gators are 2 best teams and will find out for sure Jan. 7 when Bama and Texas play. UC had good season but will need more and better players to play with the big boys in college football.

6-8 going into New Year's Eve game could have closed my eyes and throwed darts at team and probably done as well. My hat will be off to whoever wins either will be a very good picker or very lucky or a combo of both.

If UK in on top of their game will beat UL by plus 15 if not game will be a tight one as have many of these games have been no matter which team is favored.

As Florida fan will really miss Coach Meyer. Hope whatever issues he has with his health will turn out allright. Best of luck Coach.

I am glad to hear good news about Ethan. We here in Monroe Co. have all been praying for Ethan and his whole family. Sure is wonderful to hear from people all about the state praying for this fine young man. Merry Christmas to all BGP'S and thanks for all the prayers and thoughts. Just goes to show we will all rally around our children no matter where they are from.

As Monroe Co. fan glad to see Neil Wilson on this list. Know Neil's family and not only is Neil a real football player he is also a real fine young man. Glad to see him get this honor some D1 school will be missing out not to have Neil on their team.

Nothing wrong with the teams you mentioned but think Syracuse should be included in that mix. Every time i have seen them play they look very good and are a well rounded team also 2-3 zone they run is tough because no one else runs it and nothing else except for the Orange.

Think Cats will win by 25 plus. Kentucky will probably not be as ready to play as they were in the 3 big games last week. Peay is usually a pretty solid team but UK just with too much talent.

Friday nights in Monroe Co. are for football. Miss the games very much but have a sad heart for our young man Ethan Strode injured in the automobile accident.

Suh best player at his position in the country but will not win. I voted for Suh but think Ingram wiil win it.

Russellville plays up due to travel. I think maybe 100 miles or so to nearset team in 1A that they would play.

I voted for Harvin only because other teams had to spend more time preparing for him. Florida missed Murphy this year because they had no true deep ball threat. Hopefully DeBose can come back healthly and give Gators deep threat they lacked this year.

One thing that brings everyone together is our children. We here in Monroe Co. are a tight group of people. Ethan is a fine young man well liked by all his teammates and people in the county. God be with this young and his family and thanks for all the prayers all around the state.

Agree do not care which teams Boise and TCU played but would like to see them play someone besides each other.

Agree see how Harvin is playing at Minnesota. Murphy playing well for Oakland but Harvin was the man other teams feared when playing Gators last year.

I am Monroe Co. fan but after NO. 1 Fort Campbell it doew not really matter who is NO 2. Know Murray and Desales both had good teams to play with FC and Monroe played good game against FC too many turnovers and penalties to win game also Prestonburg gave Desales all they wanted so they had good team. After FC you can put Murray, Monroe, Desales, and Prestonburg in any order thar you want they are the top 4 after FC.
