Pikeville used to be a team that could have been competitive in any class I remember back through the 80's and early 90's seemed like they were playing in the title game every year. What's happened?

This week Western Hills hosts district rival Spencer Co. What's everyone think. I'm gonna say Western Hills by 2 touchdowns.

You're exactly right gchs nothing fancy about them, WJ came into friday nights game with a game plan and ran it to perfection both offensively and defensively. Worst game I've seen WH play all season just couldn't get it together from coaching all the way down to the players on the field, missques all night long. not trying to take anything away from WJ's win they played one heck of a ballgame from start to finish "Very classy of WJ to take a knee on about the 1 or 2 yardline in the closing minutes". WH has to put this one behind them and get ready for district play starting this Friday. I would have to say that for the most part the district is fairly even IMO, WH could come away with a district title this season if they can get the kinks worked out on the practice field and on the sidelines.

I'll go with the home field advantage and give NO the W by a touchdown.

I'm like you ColonelMike, I just can't put a whole lot of stock into it some teams report regularly, some only a few times per season, and some not at all. Then you probably have some, well we won't even go there!!!

Yeah well like I said "I don't know anything about Holmes" but I would have thought WC was at least 3 touchdowns better than the Flyers also but look what happened there. :idunno:

Yeah I know, I think about all teams do it now. When I played which was more years ago than we'll discuss we never watched a film on another team of course the technology wasn't what it is today either. All I am saying is as good a team as FHS I just wouldn't think many changes from what they normally do would need to be made.

I'll say Boyle by a touchdown I've seen both teams play and although Boyle is very impressive Lafayette is solid and coming along quite nicely Boyle wins, but I think it will be a little closer than most think.

FHS always has a good team, I've watched you guys for several years and those kids come to play every week some weeks better than others but non the less ready to play I just couldn't imagine what you all would need to change from one week to the next by watching a film. However I will agree that if their is a mutual agreement then everyone involved should stick to it. Good luck have a good game with no injuries...

I wouldn't think that FHS needs anyone elses film. and personally don't think that any team should trade films.

I don't know anything about Holmes, but I wouldn't count the Flyers out just yet, they are improving every week especially on defense if the offense can get things together this game may be a little closer than some think. I'll take Flyers by "3" points not TD's

I think South is very hungry and come ready to play this week. I'm gonna say South in a close one SO 17 - OC 14

Western Hills by 2 touchdowns, if and I mean a very big if they get more people involved on offense!! Have to get back to running the offense like it was in the first game against WC when several people were involved. The running game by Wright opened up the passing game for Curry enabling him to hit several different receivers, Wright needs to touch the ball at least 15-20 times a game for this team to make it very far in the post season. Hecker, Curry, Pugh, Clay, and Hewitt are all pretty good receivers from what I've seen, and Curry has ability to hit each one. combine the running of Wright and the passing of curry to any one of those receivers and you make for a very good football team. Hills has a pretty good O line this season and they have done an excellent job at opening up holes. I haven't seen that team on the field in the past 4 games.. this is probably the most talented group of players I have seen in several years at Western Hills, take advantage of the talent you have and keep everyone involved and Hills gets a big W, if you try to run the same play into the ground like I seen at EJ guess what, WJ just might come out on top. :ylsuper:

Ashland in a close one, JC has been a powerhouse for many years and had their way with most teams in eastern KY. That being said Ashland will come out on top but not without a fight from JC.

Will that be at NH or HC?

Doesen't look good for the Flyer's this week. It's going to be a tough season for the Flyer's but they will get it together you have to give the new Coach a chance before you try to run him out of town!!! I'm not a coach or anything and someone correct me if I'm wrong but I didn't think you were allowed to have practice in June anyway.

I don't know much about Fort Knox , but I doubt they will get much done against North's defense. North names the score....

I doubt very seriously M'Boro puts up 42 points against Frankfort's defense they are just too fast...

Hills should win by at least 2 TD's! Hills offense has got to get #40 more touches, last season I watched this team and he was the work horse will get you yards when no one else can.
