Oldham County (2-3) vs. South Oldham (1-5) at Crestwood.

First district game for OC after an off-week last week.

South is 0-1 in the district after being handled by Jeffersontown, 34-0, last week.

Oldham County leads the all-time series, 14-7, and has won the last two, including 56-0 last season in Buckner.

Oldham with wins over Waggener and 4A #8 Fairdale. Losses to three 6A teams, Eastern (OT), Conner, and 6A #7 Scott County.

South defeated Waggener; lost to Woodford County, North Bullitt, Henry County, North Oldham, and Jeffersontown.

I got fussed at for not picking a winner in the North vs. South game, but as the broadcast voice of the three county teams, I'm not going to pick a winner for this one, either! However, suffice it to say that South will be the underdog in this one, although you never know with rivalry games...they truly are a different animal...

Oldham Co. 21-6.

I see retro-pop is taking South...comment, R-P?

Oldham Co. 42-14

This one is going to get out of hand. South has really good looking kids, but OC has the MENTAL advantage.

I think South is very hungry and come ready to play this week.

I'm gonna say South in a close one

SO 17 - OC 14

Jason Frakes of the C-J picks Oldham County 35-0 this AM...

I can see him predicting a shutout...until South proves their offense can move the ball against decent opposition (7 points total vs. North Oldham and Jeffersontown last two weeks), the "experts" aren't going to expect much from the Dragons, point-wise. Just the way it is...

Is this a reasonable prediction?

Is anybody out there??? Can't believe this thread has only EIGHT posts!! (three of which are mine) Is the Oldham County crowd asleep???
