Gotta think on this one for just a bit.

With the adversity FHS has had to overcome this season I say hats off to these young men. Congrats to Bellview on the win. I don't think CoachB was trying to make excuses about loosing what I really think he was trying to say is to those that were standing at the fence and dogging the coaching staff about certian decisions during the game is this. if you aren't willing to do what it takes as a fan or parent to help this program succede then get in the stands and shut up and stop complaining... FHS is a small 1A football team they can't afford for players to not make the grades or do other things to get into trouble that may prevent them from playing on game night. Injuries is something that just happens and you can't do much to prevent it but when the kids only want to think about football on game night that is generally when they get hurt. The offseason is where a successfull program begins. keepem going coach.

S-K I think you and I have had a similar discussion like this previously this season so don't get on here and even try to act like Central walked all over Hills and try to deminish what these kids have accomplished this season. I mean after all they took the 2 time defending 3A State Champs down to the wire Friday night and Central was definately concerned. No one here is trying to down play Centrals win they are a very good football team the best Hills has faced all season long for them to do that is saying something about Western Hills Football, and we all know that an almost don't get you much in high school football. Hills ran the ball right at them and completed several passes Friday night. I don't know what any of the official stats were but I would say that JWright ran for about 200+ yards and Curry probably passed for well over a 100 and rushed for several as well that is just those 2 there were others that carried the ball.. here on this side of town is Hills don't have 1 or 2 superstars they have an entire team of superstars and these last 3 games that is the way all of them have played. the talent and the desire was definately there, Hills finally was able to get a coaching staff to stick around for awhile and get these kids to believe in themselves and the program, so if you want to try and take away from what these kids have done this season take it to another thread because no one here wants to hear it.

Hills gave them all they wanted and then some. In the end 2 big plays killed us. Guys I am proud of each and every one you. Keep your heads up you are all winners. Congrats to Central

It doesn't have anything to do with love SK I've seen both teams and trust me after the "WHOOPIN" WH took last year at the hands of E-Town I would like nothing more than to see anyone from this district return the favor. However after seeing E-town play they are better than their record portrays them. If HC's defense steps it up and plays like they did against us in the 2nd half they very well could come away with a win, but they are going to have to be in the backfield very fast. E-Towns QB is quick and right on target with those screen passes and his receivers just seem to find away to get open. good luck

Central is a very good team I don't think anyone will deny that, however any team can be beaten, and Hills is very capable of doing just that. Defensively they have done an excellent job of limiting big plays they have some size on the line and not as slow as some would like to think Hills has 2 LB's Wright and Slone with 100+ tackles so far this season. I think if Hills defense plays the way they have these last 3 games They will come out on top. Hills 36 - Central 28 :ylsuper:

This week Western Hills hosts Shawnee in a first round playoff game. Western Hills coming off a big win against cross town rival and I think their best record of 7-3 in the history of teh school. Shawnee on the other hand just found out they have to forfeit two of their previous wins. Who wins and why? I have to say I like WH chances here if Hills can keep a good mix of plays with Wright getting 20 + touches I think Hills wins by 2 touchdowns.
