Well maybe a little, but I don't mind crow, you have to admit Hills did do a pretty good job in the trenches, Continuing to kick to Weaver and Tilman was the killer! Hills Running game was working fairly well with Wright, but didn't use it enough. This week we go to North Oldham for a big district game, hopefully Hills can put the big loss to Frankfort behind them and take care of business.

I haven't seen Eminence play so I don't know much about them, but I have seen Frankfort even without starting QB Eminence won't be able to stop Weaver and Tilman. I have seen it with my own eyes and you ain't gonna catch them!!! Frankfort 60 Eminence 0

Oh I'm here, I'm not gonna get on here and talk smack and then run and hide so go on let me have it. Guys I just don't know where they were at last night honestly they haven't played like that all season.

Hats off to the Panthers they came ready to play and Hills didn't. My question is this, after you see a someone return your kick off 95 yards untouched for a touchdown why do you kick to them again?

I was trying to be nice, and not state the obvious. Hills is bigger, stronger, faster and more athletic, both offensively and defensively. What does FH have besides Quan?

FH is the one that will be supprised!

I will give FHS some credit they are a good team, however other than Quan they are no faster than anyone else.

I haven't had the opportunity to see Carroll play this year so I don't know much about them, but I have seen Henry last week against Western Hills and they are a very good team Carroll will not get a win easy. I'll take HC 35 -17

This Western Hills team is much improved on both sides of the ball, this game will not be a repeat of years past.

Curry was ejected early in the second quarter. Make sure you have a good seat I wouldn't want you to miss the show!!

The team downtown better be thinking about Friday night and Western Hills and not worry about the playoffs untill they finish the regular season!

Western Hills travels to Frankfort High this week should be one heck of a game. Hills continues to improve with every game no matter the score these young men always believe they can win. I think they proved that last Friday against Henry County. Hills by 3 TD's :thumb:

Congrats to WH!!! Curry excellent job!!! I cannot speak for HC but as far as WH they were very good but not their best. They tried to force the passing game to much in the second half and it almost cost them the game. "I played football in school, but have never been a coach,and believe me it's easy to call a play once it's over", but with the power RB's of Wright and Bell, and the speed of Reed and Preston you have got to use them more. Wright is possibly the best RB I have ever seen at WH, and I've been watching for a long time. I seen this kid do things in the game against Spencer Co. that you don't see from very many RB's at the High School level. Bell ran the ball quite a bit against EJ and done very well also. My point is when you have the running game and the passing game that WH has you have to use both. The running game keeps the defense honest now don't get me wrong I'm not saying that if I was coaching this team that I wouldn't take advantage of Curry's ability to throw the ball I'm just saying keep em guessing!!!!

I have to agree this should be a very good game can't wait to see it, and you're right all the games in the district are going to be tough.

O.H.M you going to be at the game tonight?

Now I'm not saying that this team is unbeatable, I'm just saying I don't think Henry County is going to do it. Untill North Oldham HC has had a very weak schedule and you have to agree with me on that. Heck you and I could have beat some of those teams. So far this season I haven't seen a team that can contain Wright and then last week I got to see Bell run the ball, both are quick and strong and they are gonna run it right down their throats. Curry's receivers are fast and they are going to get open, the O Line is bigger and stronger this year and the Defense is bigger, stronger and faster. I don't think HC is gonna be prepared for what they are about to see. Besides Spencer Co beat them, but they had 5 extra players on the field with stripped shirts and yellow flags.

I had to go check the roster at KHSAA because I didn't know the names of these young men. so here is my assesment from what I have seen so far this season. Miller and crew have seen that their running game is every bit as good as their passing game, with Wright, Bell, Reed, Preston, and Pugh, Wright is hard nosed and straight up the gut for at least 5 yards on every carry. when I had to have the yards he'd be the one I would want carring the ball, Then you got Bell, well for anyone that seen last weeks game knows what he can do. Reed, Preston, & Pugh if they get to the outside their gone. Hills passing game has about 6 or 7 guys that can catch the ball and Curry is definately capable of hitting all them. Defensively they have size, strength, and speed. This team is coming together quite nicely, and they are getting better with every game. With the exception of North Oldham who has H.C. played a bunch of 1 and 2A teams that for what ever reason aren't very good, now I'm not saying that H.C. is not any good and that Hills dosen't have anything to worry about, I just don't think that H.C. will be prepared for this defense that Rocke leads out on the field nor do I think they have the defense to stop everyone on this offense. This Hills team is not a fluke they are a real threat, so H.C. when you come down to the "Wolverine Den" this Friday night leaving your dancin shoes at home because if you think you're gonna waltz in here and waltz out with a W you better think again!
