Congrats to the Panthers. Any details ?

Man it's a good thing Quan is the only player Frankfort has or this could've been real ugly. Hills marched the opening kickoff down and went up 7-0. Quan Weaver returns the next kickoff 95 yards for the TD Hill up 7-6. Dwight Tillman returned a kickoff and punt for a TD plus making a TD catch. Quan had a 71 yard TD run and also threw a TD pass on the half back pass. Not to mention FHS starting QB ejected in the second quarter.

Frankfort has 2 kickoff returns and 1 punt return for TDs. Quan Weaver a 91 yard Kickoff return and Dwight Tillman a 90 yard kickoff return and a 89 yard punt return. Special teams were big tonight.

So proud of he way the Frankfort kids faught tonight. Special teams sums up how this went down. Dwight Tilman was special. Quan was great tonight at the safety position. Quin came in to handle the QB duties and did a good job of running the team. Defense was awesome all over the place forcing turnovers. Jeff Dunimire played a good game at LBer.

 

Concerns coming away tonight; FHS has to handle emotion better. To many foolish penalties that cost the team.

 

Lets get focus this week and put Eminence in the sites. District Championship is next week and the right to stay home through out the playoffs. This is why we work so hard for District Titles, not for some so called City Championship.........

Metcalf was ejected. There was a scuffle at the end of a play. His emotions got the best of him.

 

As for Quin, he was great. To be throw into a game like this and be able to go into the huddle and have your team follow your lead. We did have to shorten the play book tonight, but he will get all the reps next week in practice. Problem now is finding a back up QB for next week.

Not Coach B, but he means Dylan Quinn, backup QB. He looked very poised for the most part. He has a good arm and wasn't afraid to use it tonight.

Quin is a sophmore. He actually is more of a passer than Metcalfe. But Keri has better feet.

According to someone on the site FHS didn't have anyone with speed. It was stated in another thread WHHS had plenty to get the job done.

Hats off to the Panthers they came ready to play and Hills didn't. My question is this, after you see a someone return your kick off 95 yards untouched for a touchdown why do you kick to them again?
