Well, I am going to say it would've been a running clock. We had at least 2 drives halted by multiple calls per drive. The only score on us was aided by 3 penalties. Other drive, we pinned them on their 8 and back to back 15 yards penalties were assessed plus 2 defensive off sides calls were made (one by the back judge! Honest). We had two 15 yard penalties that were legit, pass interference and a facemask. Other than that, I thought we played clean. 6th game in a row holding opponent to under 100 yards rushing.

There was more penalty yards against us than Portsmouth West had in total yards. Oh, PW had 1 penalty all night.

The officiating was horrible. But we played hard and persevered.

It was told to me by a friend of an assistant coach that they would only have 19 players active against LCA. Obviously, I didn't hear it firsthand, but it was a trustworthy source or I wouldn't have posted it. If you hear differently, please correct me.

This one shocked me.

Raceland played well last night but still too many mistakes. Special teams miscues allowed a team that didn't have any reason to be in this game early. Valley is very young and inexperienced and are in a rebuilding year. Raceland cannot start games flat against better teams or we will be losing games soon. But, overall, the team is getting better.

I see GC ending 7-3, 6-4 at the worst. I think they'll be playing Ashland for a Home playoff game.
