The officiating was horrible. But we played hard and persevered.

There was more penalty yards against us than Portsmouth West had in total yards. Oh, PW had 1 penalty all night.

It's hard to cross the river and beat the brakes off an Ohio team. Sounds like that's what Raceland would have done were it not for flags flyin'.

As I said Rams by three scores or more. West is at best a slightly below average team.

What do you think the score could have been without the penalties/officiated 50/50 because it doesn't sound like it was?

Well, I am going to say it would've been a running clock. We had at least 2 drives halted by multiple calls per drive. The only score on us was aided by 3 penalties. Other drive, we pinned them on their 8 and back to back 15 yards penalties were assessed plus 2 defensive off sides calls were made (one by the back judge! Honest). We had two 15 yard penalties that were legit, pass interference and a facemask. Other than that, I thought we played clean. 6th game in a row holding opponent to under 100 yards rushing.

I think they had 3-4 from looking at my play script but only one was above the five yard variety. We had 12 but West declined one (a hold), so we really had 11 for 105 yards.
