final

Nice win by the Bluejackets, exciting times in Carlisle. Congrats.

Big congratulations to Nicholas County. That is a really good win. Nicholas County will most likely enter the playoffs undefeated after this win.

Congrats Nicholas County on the win.

Congrats

I'm happy for Nicholas County, bigger win for them than most are probably aware. If they lose to anyone that's left on the regular season schedule, it's an upset IMO.

Wow, didn't expect that. How many delays were there?

Its a nice win, but the score kind of tells me that Nicholas Co isnt anywhere near Paintsville, Raceland, or Pikeville in regaurds to coming out of the east like many have been saying.

Nicholas has a nice team but is not near the Raceland and Paintsville level. But probably best they have ever fielded.

I hate games with delays because it disrupts the flow of the game. How do we know if this game didn't have so many delays that Nicholas couldn't of shut out West?

Three 30 plus minute lightning delays. A total self implosion offensively for the Comets. Embarrsing. Played well enough defensively to win, Nicholas had around 160 yards of total offense. One of their scores was a broken/scramble pass play that was a third of their offensive production for the night.

Did Nicholas play without Richardson? Impressive win either way but more so if he was out.

This one shocked me.

Not so fast my friend, Polar Bears are coming

Well Raceland beat West by 15....and gave up 13 points. I wouldn't normally talk about officiating but West was given a catch when it was clearly a drop....then a questionable pass interference call in the end zone set them up for the touch down. West Carter is a good 3A team. Athletic, we'll coached, and everyone was thinking it would be Nicholas County's first loss. I can't speak for Paintsville and Pikeville, but NC could probably be competitive with Raceland. Thing is you'll never know till you strap them up and kick it off!! I am excited about how this team is playing. I saw more excitement than I've seen all year! Great job Kids and Coaches!!
