Reality has set in..........as I predicted in the preseason..........9-1 for the Rams in the regular season, same exit in the playoffs..........

Fleming by as much as they want, will rest players at some point in the game.....40-22, East will score during JV action.

I'll take the Rams in this one. The comets held Conley to 82 yards rushing, the Rams will do even better. IMO # 18 is Russell's best football player on both sides of the ball, but I don't think he can beat the Rams by himself. Should be a close game, Rams 18 Russell 6.

I don't hate Raceland, wish the comets had their tradition. What I don't like is when the orange goggles get in the way of being objective.......i get being a fan and supporting the program.......but paintsville should win this close, very good game between two quality programs. And i know, any given friday.....blah, blah, blah

Rowan wins, Vikings can stop Ford from running straight ahead......no other weapons for East.

I'll take Paintsville in a close one. As I've said before, everyone on the Rams schedule is down this year except Paintsville. The Rams are the best team in NEKY but their undefeated record is fools gold (as is the Nicholas Co record). Should be one the best games played all year in NEKY.

Again..........will the offense show up? Defense should carry the comets.

Thoughts? I say take the top 2 in each district, making the playoffs should be a big deal. 99.9% of the first round games are terrible.

Running clock very early.

It all depends on what the Comet offense can do. Defense will be good enough. But if the offense sputters and leaves the defense in bad situations or on the field to long, this one gets ugly. The defense just can't overcome short fields and a bunch of 3 and outs all night.

I in no way want to disrespect NC, they deserved the win. A total offensive IMPLOSION from the comets. The entire offense had a bad game at the same time. Again NC played hard, won a game they shouldn't have, hats off to their players. But raceland wins big against NC.

Three 30 plus minute lightning delays. A total self implosion offensively for the Comets. Embarrsing. Played well enough defensively to win, Nicholas had around 160 yards of total offense. One of their scores was a broken/scramble pass play that was a third of their offensive production for the night.

Every team on the Rams schedule is down this year except for Painstville, and they may be better. Rams finish 9-1 in the regular season. Take the same exit in the playoffs as last year. The offensive stats are a little overblown this year with the schedule being what it is. Best O/D line in NEKY and Walker is a real threat. Just not enough skill or kicking game to make a deep playoff run. The Rams lack of a kicking game REALLY hurts them, especially against good teams. Rams have proven to be the best team in NEKY.

A healthy Fairview wins easily, an injured Fairview means its a toss up and an ugly game to watch. The only thing East can do is run straight ahead, no big play capabilities. Ford runs hard but is not going to break for a long TD run.

No running clock this week......overall team speed will make the difference in this one but it will be close.......24-12 WC in a physical game.

You can coach speed.....it's called track. Low class move by the East coaches going after our kicker with a freshman, basically trying to get in a fight or something. Officials were on top of it and got it stopped. Lot of personal fouls against East.

Next to Ram nation saying they didn't have enough money for away games that is the second best line ever!
