Cov. Cath's always a worry for the Birds. That's why Highlands players wear shirts that say "Beat Cov. Cath."

Until BG beats Highlands, they'll be no higher than 3rd. Because you run the score up on teams, you think you're God's gift to Ky. football. IMO, Highlands would have beaten BG this year and your purple pride would have been stomped on. But since there's no way to prove it, you speculate all you want, that's what you do in a fantasy world.:thumb: What is a Purple? Just a definition, not all of the idealistic wordage that some would lay out because they don't know the definition.

I agree with the bold print above. Cov. Cath. played hard and almost pulled it out. That game definitely revealed a big weakness in Highlands defensive line that the coaches had better improve or they might not beat Elder, or Cov. Cath. in the playoffs. With that being said, I hope the Birds go undefeated.:thumb:

It would be extremely embarrasing for Elder to lose to a N.KY. team. Cincinnati has very little or no respect for N.KY. football. The defensive line of Highlands had better improve, as discovered in the Cov. Cath. game, or it will be a long difficult night. GO BIRDS!

The above would be a great alternative if not for the scheduling issue. Given the excellence of the program, Highlands should be playing 6a for competitiveness. Cov. Cath should be there too to keep the rivalry going.:thumb:
