Generals take this one 31-17

This should be a close game but I think DH will pull out a narrow win. They've been putting more points on the board so it's up to Lafayette's defense to stop them.

Anyone have any info on Lafayette?

I have watched Lafayette online a couple of times and they look well-rounded/solid. If Dixie comes to play this should be a very competitive first round game.

Lafayette 35-27.

This is a "new season" for Dixie. Time to play hard nosed football like you're capable of doing. Just get it done.:thumb:

They have a RB, Bubba Johnson that is very good. Against us he had, 160 yards on the ground and scored one touchdown rushing and two more on catches of 74 and 82 yards respectively. Another big play was when quarterback Jeremy Smith connected with William Johnson for an 82-yard touchdown pass.

That spells trouble for Dixie.

I was thinking the same thing, especially if he has any speed.

He does.

Somebody told me Pike is no longer on the team any truth to that?

Do you mean Hatton? He was sitting in the stands Friday night. I highly doubt Pike is gone.

That's the word I got too.
