St Henry: Matt Otte Todd Vieth Brandon Lenhof

Its a high school 18u summer league. AABC

You forgot the most important thing. HES 16 YEARS OLD!

I dont know that the above picture really tells whether he was safe or not. If you look at the series of pictures Snyder catches the ball on the first base side and swipes it down. So the picture really doesnt say much he could have already tagged him by that point.

Completly agree with you. Even though it was a bad throw the first basemen needs to block that ball and keep the runners at third and first. Instead it gave NCC a run and a runner in scoring position.

Doesnt CovCath have to beat NCC first? Just wondering cause it seems like everyone is already giving them a free pass to the final.

Boone Conner St. Henry Lloyd Cov Cath Holy Cross Bellvue Highlands

Maile

It was actually 2-1 Lloyd after 3 complete, 2-2 after 4 complete, and 4-2 after 5 complete. Then CCH broke it open

Sorry I have just never heard of an umpire tossing someone after a game is over they usually just walk out and do not talk to anyone.

How do you get ejected after a game?

Hmm maybe this will help everybody narrow it down: Division 1 POY- Darner, Maile Division 2 POY- Hunter Jones If i do remember correctly they give a POY award away to two separate divisions so there should not even be a debate involving Hunter and the CCH boys

Why does the newspaper today show Shelton, not Hammons as the losing pitcher?

CCH had a 11 hits according to theoldguy's statistics. Doesnt seem like they had to much trouble catching up to his fastball???

If your going to mention Lloyds JV coach then you have to include the Head Varsity Coach Aaron Moore hes done a heckuva job out there.

There is also a big difference between stealing on the pitcher up 20-3 and taking second on a passed ball. Most coaches tell their players to advance on a passed ball so it doesnt seem like their showing up the other team.

Who won the whole tournament?

Just to prove my point a little further Lloyds 9 wins are against teams with a combined record of 33-70 (according to KHSAA). There 5 Losses are against teams with a combined record of 40-32.

With all due respect to the Lloyd faithful, yes your team started out 8-0 which was indeed a great accomplishment even if they were playing teams such as Villa, Walton, St. Henry, Ect... but they are now 9-5 when playing their tougher part of the schedule against a couple Louisville teams and some good NKY teams. My point is you cant expect to get much respect when your not beating the better teams around here. Do I think they can beat them? Yes I do but until they do and start doing it on a regular bases your just not gonna be ranked in the top 5 of the region.

1. Im gonna say legal homerun just because i remember when Mark McGwire hit his 62nd homerun and missed first base and had to go back and tag it. 2. Runner is out 3. 2 runs score 4. Runner is out

Walt has been at St. Henry for almost 15 years but just as an assistant. Hes only been the head coach for 4 years now.

Hmm, well I guess that means that Jeramie Conner was throwing 90 mph against Lloyd since he was throwing it right by them. I wasn't aware thats what designated someone throwing 90.

Thats good because Bellevue through their ace and Lloyd did not

Is the chamionship going to be televised anywhere?

Foster McElfresh will be the head coach of the 16u Colonels. Joe Price will be one of the assistants along with two others that have slipped my mind.
