  1. One was hurt most of the season and one just sucks.
  2. Ha My son used to play for Cooper, now he plays for Boone. I agree with the player part. But no, the best team is Boone, seeing as they won the region. Not trying to start anything but the best team usually wins the region.
  3. The reason we havn't been posting might have something to do with the fact that we were busy doing other things...such as...oh idk...winning the region? Thank you
  4. Boone over Dixie wasnt a hard pick. Neither is Conner over HC. Congratulations on your immense knowledge of the game. You are the definition of team picking prowess. (SARCASM)
  5. I love the guys that come on here and argue over little things. "You wont put your real name up!" haha Boone County won the region Dixie did not. These are the facts. Boone County has the talent to win state, this is my opinion. If you so choose to disagree with my opinion...I dont care. Thanks
  6. Very true, Dunaway can definitley hit. My only concern with him is if he can keep his arm healthy this year. If he does that no doubt he'll be in the conversation!
  7. Very true, hard to play well when you cant even keep yourself on the team. Must have been tough, Thompson is going to play college ball, watch.
  8. His E.R.A was high, but he was throwing against all the toughest teams, and Coopers defense wasnt all that great...
  9. Eh, Thompson was there best defensive player but not their best pitcher, from what I've read he had some easy teams, this year he is however their best pitcher.
  10. Im wondering if anyone knew that heritage's best pitcher (Mark Wheatley) and Cooper's best pitcher (Travis Turner) both transferred to Boone? Their pitching was already solid, with the addition of these two arms, I'd have Boone either one or two, especially with Huff at the helm. He's a great coach!
  11. Thompson is by far the best player they have with Bjyquest? second. They lost their best pitcher who was also a senior in Turner as a transfer to Boone. People are forgetting how strong this team can be. Last year they were up on Ryle by 4 when Ramey came in to save. They lost but it was only due to Ramey being nervouse on the mound and giving up a ton of walks. I see them surprising alot of people this year!
  12. I know that Boone has added to their pitching greatly with Doug Teegarden being a year older, Heritage's best pitcher in Mark Wheatley transfering, and Coopers best pitcher, Travis Turner also transfering to Boone, my bet is they win districts and regionals. Their hitting should also be superb with Jackson Lauman, Ronald Cotton, and Nate Alford all swinging a solid stick.
