Walter
What about Schmidt from St. Henry? Wasn't he one of the better big men in 2003 along with JD, Neltner, and Brock?
Walter
Nic Simpson - Highlands I'd take Greg McGraw over him.
Lucky Charms
I'd take Greg McGraw over him. Both were good. McGraw could take over a game by himself though! Good call there.:thumb:
Walter
What about the following: Austin Hill- Holmes Travis Rasso- Boone Tim Tierney- Covcath I'd take Hill over a lot of the guys on that list. He was one of the few to play at the D1 level and he's currently playing for Illinois St, I believe. I'd also put Greg Rice on the first team ahead of Arrez Henderson. Rice was a JUCO All American last year and last I heard is at Detroit University (D1) right now.
Walter
Both were good. McGraw could take over a game by himself though! Good call there.:thumb: McGraw was the best all around player in that c/o 2008. He could do it all at both ends of the floor.
Qryche11
Hill should be on the 2nd team but if I had to pick 5 only and position didn't matter I would go with this. 1st 5 Ronny Dawn Justin Doellman Ross Neltner Brennan Votel Greg Rice 2nd 5 Mike Brock Matt Nestheide Austin Hill Mark Krebs Jeff Vories
CovCathiRadio
Luke Maile got minutes all four years on varsity and scored 1000 points.
CovCathiRadio
Corey Sorrell from Holy Cross was one of the best scorers in past 10 years.
CovCathiRadio
Can't allow an honorable mention list without Michael Grimes from CovCath.

Great player and always the guy to stop when he played.
CovCathiRadio
Finally, I know it was only one year, but what a year for the 9th region tournament MVP of 2006 Danny Noll now finishing up a great career at Centre College.
Clyde
Are we naming best 5 regardless of position?
NKYBOY1487
I would say I'd definetly add to my list: Austin Hill Luke Maile Corey Sorrell Mike Schmidt Nic Simpson Tim Tierney Danny Noll McGraw if he could have stayed healthy for just one more year. But I loved watching this kid play. I know he was at Transy but health problems held him back. Keep throwing guys at me, I know I was missing guys I wanted to add but just didn't have a list to go off of.
