I think coach Bob Bieger is number one followed by Arlo. Bieger is all class and drives his players to be classy and play the game the way it was meant to be played. I have the great fortune of playing under him this year. Anyone else think they have someone better? (Wilhoite was a great coach but now hes an a.d.)

It has to be Coach Krump from CovCath. He may have more talented players than most schools but he consistently gets results out of them and that is demonstrated by this impressive of streak of 22 or 23 seasons of 20 wins or more.

I totally agree! If I could pick any coach from Northern Kentucky to coach a team I'd have to pick Meyerhoff. He did wonders for my son and taught him so many things. My son has the utmost respect for him as do I. He has done so much for us. The guy really knows baseball and loves being around it. He can't ever seem to get enough of it. IMO he is a much older version of Coach Bieger of Cooper.

Meyerhoff and Krumps both at the top of my list.

How can you choose anyone else but Krumps. Who did a lot of the present day coaches play for, back when they played baseball in High School.

I think it helps but to consistently win as many games as he has over these 20 or so years shows that indeed he is a great coach.

Honestly I believe Meyerhoff is the best coach in the area but that is just my opinion. IMO he does more with less and consistently produces one good team after another at such a small school as Beechwood (1A)...

 

I may be a little biased on the situation as he taught me and my son so much on his summer team before his injury but I have followed over him many of these past years and he does so much with so little.

That's who I was going to bring up. At a small school, with little baseball tradition like Bellevue, he brings out the best in his players

Also Bayouini (sp?) is a great coach as well. He and Bobby are two great assistants and have helped Meyerhoff tremendously.

So you are saying Krumps isn't the best because he has more talent? I don't think you can look at it like that, but you are entitled to your opinon. There is a reason why baseball doesn't have classifications. Smaller schools can compete a lot better in baseball then say football, because it isn't that much of a "numbers" game.
