Camel, Campbell County plays in a district with Scott, Silver Grove, Calvary Christian, and Brossart. Even if Ryle is hanging up their jersey's before the Camels its allot more respectable considering they play in a District with St. Henry, Boone, and Conner. I would be ashamed if i played at Campbell County and didnt make it out of Districts

From what i remember Campbell County's backstop is no bigger than Ryles?????

Im just going to say flat out...there is not a "BEST TEAM" in the 9th region this year. Like DD said its whoever is hot in May.

Thats not to mention when the Lex Cath coach comes out for a mound visit and the ump allows him to stay out there for a good 5 minutes while their stud gets loose to come into the game. Im like you Waterboy i hate blaming an umpire for a game but there were some things that went on that just didnt seem right. For example a close play at second where the runner actually slides into the Conner second baseman and the umpire says he never tagged the bag.

Conner lead 7-2 going into the 5th inning and I hate to put it on the umpires but 3 very VERY questionable calls cost the Cougars in this game. Its sad when these kids travel all the way down there and play their hearts out and get it taken away by an official

St. Henry made it to the regional semi's in 04' and 06' and have won the district in 70' 73' 93' 00' 01' and 02'. Ryles not the only school to win a 33rd district title DD. Also Kuebbing and Gilcrist are getting to play every once in a while, Nick not at all and Shanks was starting at 2nd and leading off for Thomas More before leaving after the fall semester, he is now coaching at Conner.

Why does everyone keep bashing St. Henry?? Ukfan, you had to know that St Henry was not going to be anywhere near as good as the past two years, they only have 3 kids that really played on last years team that won a school record 23 games. Not to mention the fact that ya they may not win 20 games this year but every kid that puts on that St. Henry uniform is always respectful and plays the game right. Sorry i just dont see bashing a school every time they lose just because one person got on here and claimed them the best team in NKY.
