Final from Union. Charlie Lovan goes 3 and the soph Donahue finishes the last 2 for his first appearance at the varsity level.

20 Runs in 2 days...could the Raiders be awakening?

Lovan has now strung together a very impressive run of quality starts and has fast become Ryle's most consistent starter.

Wow......does anyone have more info on this game??

That would be 14 runs in 3 days. Yesterday was not an official game.:thumb::thumb:

What was the field condition for the Campbell Co./Harrison Co. game? I assume it was playable and to your liking? :thumb::thumb:

Oh! it was in great shape because unlike Ryle they were actually ahead of the game when it came to taking care of their field. And even though they ( Harrison County dont have the best field in the world they do take care of it and dont have a little league or softball back stop.:irked::irked::irked:

I guess when you're getting wooped on by a struggling team you might be a little bitter. Guess that's why the Campbel coach kept stahling, walking in to beg the home plate ump to stop the game, going out to the mound, working the field ump to end the game....the runs may not count, but they were scored.

What exactly is a little league or softball backstop? I don't quite understand?

It must have been this "little league or softball back stop" that caused Campbell County to be on the verge of getting run ruled, right? And Ryle takes care of the field they have very well. No one said it's the best field, but they do take care of it. Which would be the reason that game had to be switched FROM Campbell County TO Ryle.

From what i remember Campbell County's backstop is no bigger than Ryles?????

The man did not want someone to get injured playing in the rain. The pitchers on both teams were having a hard time trying to grip the ball.

By the way I believe it is whupped!!! and Campbell or is it Rile.

It's very easy for you to play that card and I am sure there wasn't a coach or a fan at that game that wanted any of the players injured, but I'm guessing if the score was reversed and by the sound of your camel homer speak you would have wanted the game to finish.
