The overwhelming majority of responses from UK fans recognize the ludicrous nature of this thread and have thrown their unwavering support behind Cal and the program in this thread. Our coach is a winner, a champion and a Hall of Famer that the overwhelming majority hope sticks around for a long time. I refuse to let the lunatic fringe define my fandom. Just because the outliers are vocal does not mean they represent the fan base. No, this thread is not embarrassing for UK fans. I love the hire. He is a guy that should be able to recruit and have some clout with current players. He has ties to Texas. I think this is a great hire.

People forget- Calhoun, Coach K, Pitino; the greats like Izzo, Donovan and Stevens have 0 titles while Cal has been at UK. I like my coach.

I love Cal. I don't want him going anywhere. I remember the Billy Clyde era. I remember VMI and Gardner Webb. I remember our stud recruit being Dakotah Euton (sp.). I love going to the Final Four every year. I love feeling like we are title contenders every year. I love seeing our guys in the NBA. Cal brought us back from the dead. I hope he stays forever!

I disagree with the characterization of most. Again, on sites like this one that are full of UK fans the discussions are being had. My Facebook and Twitter streams look different than yours, obviously. Every fan base has the outliers. I choose not to paint the entire fan base with a broad brush based on the actions of some. JMO.

UK fans are having discussions about both here. If you choose allow Twitter and Facebook to define an entre fan base then that is fallacious on your part, not BBN.

Don't misconstrue my belief that the apology directly to Frank was enough as a lack of concern. I haven't seen this lack of concern that you speak of. Please elaborate and share examples.

The person who needed the apology got it. Anything else is unnecessary and superfluous, IMO. If having the masses know about the apology is necessary, I would argue his tweet is the best mechanism for this- the word got out instantly and reached millions.

I think every one on UK's bench did. I think all the Cats on the floor did. That was part of the problem.

KAT and WCS along with the Harrisons are gone for sure, I'd bet. I think Trey will go, but he shouldn't. I think Booker will stay, and he should. For sure, we will have Ullis, Poythress, Dakari, Lee, Hawkins and the commits. This is a top 5-10 team.

Duke by 15...As bad a matchup as Wisconsin was for UK, Duke is a worse matchup for Wisconsin, IMO.

100% true. They gave up rebounds and got hurt on the switches. I would have at least liked to see Lee for a few more minutes to see if he could have helped on either front. Dakari can rebound; I would have loved to have seen him for a few minutes in the second half as well.

Towns didn't get enough touches to end the game in the final possessions. I didn't love the isolation plays- I would have rather run clear outs for Towns in the post.

I wish Coach Cal trusted our depth more than he did. Dakari and Lee had solid minutes in the first half. I wanted to see more of them in the second half. I also wish that we gave the starting 5 a blow in the last 8 minutes or so. Our depth was our strength all season and we didn't use it well enough tonight, IMO.

I'm a proud UK alum tonight! These boys did the University and the state proud!
