This program is a sleeping giant, IMO. They will go after Cal. After he tells them no, they will try to convince Gregg Marshall to come over. If Marshall chooses to stay a Shocker or go to Alabama, I think they need to get creative. Archie Miller? Texas has money, facilities and an in-state recruiting base. A smart coach should be able to see all of this and seize this opportunity.

Ho hum...UK gets all the headlines and UL makes yet another Elite 8 under Pitino with a great shot at another Final Four. I have a lot of sports hate for UL and Pitino, but it is hard not to respect this accomplishment. It is especially hard when you consider the challenges of this particular season. I disagree. I think he could recruit Texas and his defensive system would be welcomed. The biggest question would be support from the alumni, as we have seen how they have supported Charlie Strong.

Texas is a sleeping giant! Get the right person in there and they can be a national power. Shaka Smart, and Gregg Marshall are great options. Frank Martin would be a good hire, too. I think this program is tailor-made for Bob Huggins, but I can't see him leaving WVU. All the Orange Bloods will want Coach Cal, but I don't see that happening, either.
