Hey everyone, just wanted to see if there was anyway possible that you could help me with a project for my INF 186 Elementary Web Design course AND for another website that has asked me to get information on KY HS football helmets. The guy that asked me to help him just designed my avatar for me of Rockcastle County's helmets. He is taking on what I think to be a monumental task of doing one of those "Helmet Project" websites for the ENTIRE country. He will also do some none football-themed helmets as well...he has some of MLB, NHL, NBA teams plus some movie-themed ones as well.

 

SOOOOO....with all of that having been said, could you post a picture in this thread with a good look of a particular team's helmet or if you don't have a good picture, could you please provide specific detail about it (this would include everything from the helmet color, the decal used, the color of the face mask AND the color of the part of the helmet where the name of the helmet maker is located).

 

I think it'll be fun once he gets things done and we'll each have a nice looking helmet to use of our favorite schools.

Be careful and keep in mind, any logos or symbols which are "trademarked".

It is hard to see the decal, but the helmet is orange with a white facemask. Down the middle of the helmet is a thick black stripe with a thin white stripe on either side of the black stripe. There is a scriptive black "R" on both sides of the helmet with the top of the "R" swinging back is tail like fashion.

 

You can also see Ashland Blazers helmets in the picture. Maroon helmet with black facemask, with a block outlined "A".

Don't forget to look at the pics posted on this website for helmet logos. ALso, you can go to a lot of school websites and find football pics as well.

Here is a pic of Manual's helmets with a few different types and side and front views. Red or "scarlet" helmet with black mask, white nose bumper/sweatbands and the decal is white ram horns with thin black outline.
