Final

Beach Ball Classic 2nd round.

Scott Co will play Dunwoody (GA) tomorrow at noon in a consolation game.

Great game. Scott Co is getting better and better. This schedule is murder.

Nice showing by my Cards, against the #2 team in the nation. Scott County record may show it, but they are a good team. Come March they will be right in the thick of it. They have another tough test against Chris Singleton and Dunwoody.

Duncanville is an impressive team...lots of athleticism. This is a good showing by the Cards.

I think this has to be one of the toughest in the nation.

8 teams from 8 different states. Not every team has been nationally ranked, but my goodness.

You gotta beat the best to be the best, SC has never backed down from tough opponents, do they even get invites to the 5/3rd any more? I know in 99 and 00 they never lost a game and then were not asked back in 01....not sure if this is still the case.

Duncanville ,Taft, and Chester PA are all ranked in USA today as of last week and Whitney was the first of the season. I would think this schedule has prepared them for the tough 11th region.

Coach Hicks has never been afraid to play anyone. How good would this team be with Mackey?

I am sure the guy that replaced Mackey in the line up is a high quality ball player. They are not at a complete loss, as would a smaller school would be with out their big gun.

But, yes they would be better off with him.
