I will say if it was Zeke Pike making those tweets it probably wasn't a good idea, but it is funny that people on this site are critaical of someone posting inflamatory remarks much worse has been said about Zeke on this website than any of his tweets.

Did Zeke get 5 years? Keep beating your dead horse Zeke had 30 plus offers before his Junior year so I think it is safe to say he was goi D1 no matter when he graduated. While I am not saying wingman's theory is true there is an example from this year that supports his claim and it is done by both services Rivals and ESPN Brett Hundley (UCLA) played in the Under Armor game which is affiliated with ESPN was ranked 12th best QB by Rivals and 5th best QB by ESPN. Cody Kessler (USC) played in the Army All American game which is affiliated with Rivals was ranked 4th best QB by Rivals and 30th best by ESPN. So it would not be that unheard of that these services may rank 1 QB higher because he is their guy, heck people do it all the time find me a bluebird that would say they think Pike is the better QB, I know as a Colonel fan I would not sayTowles is better than Pike. Take what you want from it Zeke and Patrick both have a great oppurtunity in front of them and hopefully in 4 years they are listed as the top NFL QB prospects.

Not to let facts get in the way of your slam but their JV team actually beat Ryle, and Simon last year I am pretty sure each were by a solid margin, lost to Boone by one score, and didn't play Campbell. Highlands JV could not have scored a 100 points becuase they were trying IMO. They got as many as they could but it wasn't a 100 points. If you disagree about them trying to score 100 so be it but they scored their last touchdown on a pass by the starting QB with less than 2 min left, to make the score 69-6. I am sure you will fire back with Highlands and their 10000000000 state championships but I DO NOT CARE ABOUT HIGHLANDS!!!!!!!!

The author says it was a mountain out of an ant hill. The sad thing is I believe there are certain "adults" that are rooting for this kid to fail for what reason I could never imagine. What was the score of the SK Middletown game? I am not a Highlands fan but to suggest they are dodging SK so they can put teams like ST X and Elder on their schedule is rediculous. Highlands will play anyone and they have proved that can you say the same for SK?

As long as you are not 19 before August 1st you can play sports, you can play as many years varsity as you are good enough in all sports accept football, wrestling and soccer because they are considered contact sports. I respect your opinion but what advantage does he have over other 15 year olds, the only one I can think of is he may be better at basketball than them.

Hey I wasn't the one saying they should let kids in free. I just answered your question about Dixie's admission prices. I know they sell it based on regular season events, but as generous as Dixie's principal is to her students I would not be surprised if she honored the passes at the district tourney. I do think if the price was lower say 4 dollars for students you could get more kids to attend and they would make more money, but what do I know.

I don't know if he was held back or not nor do I care. That is a decision his parents and educators would have made in his best interest, he is a KID and when people bring this up I think it is garbage. As I said he will be 18 when he plays his senior year there are plenty of 18 year old seniors, the only advantage he will have is that he was good enough to play varsity basketball when he was 13 and others may not have been. As for the original post he didn't ask a question about Brandon himself he said "Watched him play a couple times and he can play but I believe he was held back at least one year" to me this was demeaning his accomplishment because his parents and educators may or may not have made that decision for him. I don't know how anyone would know why any kid was held back unless they helped make that decision. For the record I do not see Brandon scoring over 3300 points in the next 3 years so I don't think it will matter how many years he played.

Brandon will not ever be 19 years old and play high school basketball. Bringing up kids academic situations is questionable at best. You are talking about a 15 year old who just scored his 1000th career point just say congratulations or nothing at all. Dixie sells an athletic pass to students that gets them into all home regular season events for a very reasonable price, I want to say $15.

The team that survives the NKY 6A district will have a good shot at playing in the title game based on the draw. Who that will be is the question.

Highlands never lost a game to a 5A school while they played up 2 classes,so I would say they would exactly the same amount of wins if they would have played 3A for the 4 years they were in 5A.

Well with a Bird in charge of the Bulldogs he dropped the Birds the 1st chance he had then when the state forced him to play the Birds again he went looking for a new job. So I would say NO way, and he will never be criticized like Marksberry at SK has for not scheduling them.

Pike will play against Cov. Cath. because Dixie plays NCC in week 0 and he will have to sit out that game.

That is only part of the story Carrer Stat comparison Farris 6193 yards and 62 TD Simpson 4949 yards 82 TD They are both great backs, I don't think it is a runaway for Simpson as someone stated.

I agree 100% Frisk is #2 on my list of runningbacks in NKY (that I have seen) I believe Farris was every bit as good as Simpson, and has the stats to prove it. The only thing holding his team back his senior year was they saw Trinity a week earlier than SK had to in 08
