I can understand your logic but with Frogtown Connector once you turn off the interstate it is 2 turns either way. I just think avoiding Mt. Zion and 42 traffic on a Friday night is a plus.

Take Exit 175 turn left go to the 2nd light turn right, when the road ends turn left you are on Frogtown Road in a couple of miles you will run into Ryle High school. Does that make it less confusing I promise this is the easiest way to Ryle from Louisville.

Exit 175 turn Left go to the 2nd light (Between Pilot gas station and Penn Station it is called Frogtown Connector) turn right, stay on that road until it ends (runs next to the intertate) Turn Left you are on Frogtown Road and will run into Ryle High school. This is the easiest route off the interstate and has less traffic. Mt Zion ext 178 you go north and back track , and run into traffic on Mt Zion and 42. I would recommend this route to anyone coming to Ryle, because you avoid 42 entirely.

He played QB this year and he threw for over 2000 yards and rushed for over 900. He runs well and has a big arm.

People should spend more time talking about stuff like this rather then bashing 15-18 year old kids and the men and women who give of their time to coach them and the world would be a better place. The game itself it was a great Football game, back and forth until the end, 2 teams battled hard and only one can win. Good season Dixie and Good luck Highlands, you have a great team.

Roger Walz is a good example coach I guess I should have said current coaches. Don't know much about Wolfe other than his Male team has a good draw this year. Lickert is a fine coach but time will tell they both get to move into a district with the best teams in the state. This year Male would finish 4th in the district they are heading to.

This play although it is what most coaches teach is actually against the rules. Very few refs call it but you are not allowed to hit a reciever that is in a pass route. If you do not believe me look it up, or ask a ref that knows the rules. I didn't know it was illegal until a few years ago when I saw it called and ask an official I know. I can't remeber what the pentaly is but I will try to find out.

For those that say it is the D's job to stop them when they prove they can't you stop yourself. Example: Beechwood was up 52-0 at halftime in a game and won 52-7 because their coach decided he gets nothing out of humiliating kids.

The JV coach is simply doing as he was taught when he played for Highlands. Anyone who says it isn't how they have done things before is kidding themselves.

I have too much time and did some research and as I thought Dixie is actually pretty strong out of a bye. They are 7-1 had the lead at halftime in everygame, and played some quality opponents. CovCath 4 times, Conner 3 times, Lloyd 1 time. The only year the halftime score looks like they were flat is 2007 but that team played flat often, they lost to Holmes because of it.

I don't know what years you watched but since they started having a bye during the season (2002) Dixie is 7 and 1 coming out of a bye week. The one loss was last year, and that bye week was quite different than most teams bye week.

Once saw a game that the 45 point running clock rule was in effect and the winning team had their 1st team in (loosing team did not) running no huddle and throwing the ball. I would not call that winning with class, but with the team involved I expected nothing less. So to say the loosing team should wave the white flag is not always beneficial if the other team ignores it.

I realize Conner is young but I believe they could play with Holmes. The score was not 26-20 when he faked the punt it was 33-20. I am not a big believer in if's. We could go on all day with if's and Dixie's season this year, but those if's didn't happen.

I can only see them underestimating Ryle if they let UKFAN give the pre-game speech.

Yes, I watched both teams play Dixie and I am not sure they are better by a lot. They may be better but I think Conner would give them a game. I know comparing scores is useless but they have 2 common opponents and the scores are similar. Have you seen Conner play or are you comparing records.
